Donald Trump and US politics

It seems all you cons must be getting paid to post this stuff.

Let me get this straight.

You want a one party government. Or better yet a no party government.

Anyone who doesn't say or do what you approve of to be shipped off to a desert island somewhere.

Ban all religions but evangelical sanctimonious christian ones.

Only have medical coverage for conservatives so all the other people die off.

No taxes for anything but still have billions to spend.

A so-called impartial judiciary that only gives rulings you approve of.

It only took a few days before they started to blame Obama for everything that's ever gone wrong in the world since humans got up off all fours.

I guess evolution is fake news. Right?

And now the unemployment figures that were all fake before are ok to quote now.

Think of all the money you can save by doing away with elections.

And I'll bet that a VERY large number of democrats are gun totin' bad hombres like you.

I wouldn't respond to these guys and let them preach to the choir.

Don't bother posting nasty diatribes to me because I won't respond.

I wonder how you guys survived 2 bush presidency. Must have hidden in a bunker or something.

I was watching Valkyrie the other day here in hospital. Maybe they had the right idea. I don't know. *trumpshrug*

Australia have one of the most strict immigration policy on this planet. They even push back boatpeople on sea.

Not sure why Australia would complain about Trump and shitty refugee deals.

1. Spicer butchered their PM's name. Relatedly.

2. CNN-style leftist media is an American export. I'm guessing from the "Herr Trump" that Charan is fairly liberal.

3. The actual phone call between Trump and Turnbull was pleasant and productive, avoiding to Trump and Turnbull. There are rumors of it being less cordial, with Trump losing temper, but officials on both sides deny.

Because he's an old commie using the typical socialist tactic of class warfare. In the past socialists would go after the rich capitalists, bourgeoisie and clergy. But since the later two don't really exists or hold power anymore, all that is left is the "1%" in terms of wealth.

But the catch is: after the "1%" upper class is being eliminated, err.. I mean socialized, the social inequality is still not solved, therefore socialism always goes after the next percent, which would be the middle class - until everyone is equally poor.

The initial goal of stripping too much power from the wealthy elites, is a good goal, but socialism is a very bad strategy to do it. What needs to be done is separating politics from the influence of money (like state-church separation), without going full Cuban revolution and ending up in the gutter.

Don't be fooled by this old well-meaning grampa. He might be telling you he's a "democratic socialist", but in the past his clique was fully supporting "revolutionary dictatorships" like SU, commie China, Cuba...

No, we ONLY push the boatpeople back because they're perceived as directly linked to human trafficking. But sure, go on educating this half Chinese Australian about his own country. Or better, don't.

I have inside information from a high level republican that Trump is about to court African Americans hard. Like go into roughest places, talk with religious leaders, and promise to bring jobs, roads, factories etc. Imagine that if he gets the black vote. Kills dems narrative entirely and their chances.

Obviously I dont agree with it because im a Turbo Capitalist but stay tuned.

Did I mention the private hospital I'm unhappily in is covered by my $1,000 a year insurance? Or that my $3,000 a month medication costs me $30 a month under public healthcare? Good luck with making America First when it comes to affordable healthcare.
2016 Trump didn't talk much about this, actually. Sure, he went on about how shitty Obamacare is (because it is shitty), and he said it had to be repealed and replaced. But replaced with what? No details on the campaign trail.

Although from his early life until 2004-ish Trump was a staunch advocate of single-payer healthcare a la Canada. Decidedly left of Obama. So... yeah.

When the "replace" rollout starts getting into high gear, I'm going to be laughing my ass off at all the Trump haters who thought Trump was going to fuck them over on healthcare, and at all the ancap butthurt from those who were eagerly anticipating a corporatist solution. Not to mention the tortured language in Republican explanations of how single-payer is the way out of the Obamacare debacle. The cognitive dissonance will be delicious.

You cant replace it with better unless you address supply side which Trump nor any other US politicains will never do including Democrats who are on the take as well. e.g. multimillionaire doctors which used to be a middle/upper middle class profession. Drugs which US military pays a fraction for (something Eisenhower negotiated) and they still profit while American public subsidizes the world. A industry which is in violation of multiple Federal laws and SC decisions. A industry which sucks 20% of GDP When it used to be 5%!

Are those numbers for real, or are you joking? Can I ask you what kind of insurance do you have, it is a basic "citizen insurance" or are you employed / business owner? (sry dont know the proper english terms)

Because in the post-socialistic heaven where I live and has only ~70% GDP of AU GDP per capita, only if you are unemployed the cost of insuring you (payed by others) will be lower then $1.000 per year. The moment you are employed you will pay more than that. And god forbid you are self-employed / business owner, then the state will take away ~200 EUR per month at the very minimum, but scaling up the more income you have. (that is just health insurance, not counting "pension insurance" - both are mandatory, you cant opt-out)

Even then, the insurance will not cover all your medications, a good chunk of it you'll have to additionally pay by yourself.

If those numbers you cited are real, then congratulations to the Aussies. Your system is probably much less corrupt and "special-interests"-driven, so you manage to "leak" less money.
