@philophil I am currently looking at your ranger. I am wondering if diamond rings are really better than opal rings with choirs. I see that you're using Diamond rings, what's the reason behind this? Does it scale better? I am already getting around 55% crit with flasks, what's your recommendation on rings in this case?

U need at least 75% crit chance to be near crit cap with diamond flask.

I'd multimod the second one and craft AS & flat lightning, it's better than mine. 63% attack damage more + extra ele dmg to fire/cold, as well as almost 0.7 more crit definitely beats the increased flat lightning vs crafted one.

The first wand is decent but i'm not sure if missing out on a prefix craft (%WED) is better than 1% more crit. It could still be good but i'd advise for the second wand. Sorry for the late reply, I didn't get an inbox.

This build looks amazing; clear speed; boss fights; and pizzazz. I came across , and was wondering which build path to go down. Do i choose yours "worst luck" or "Philo's". I'm currently level 70. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: i think i will choose Philo's and go Pathfinder. BTW, what are some ways i can run all my auras. i'm having some difficulty. Also, bandits?

my bandit are kill/kill/kill. If u look at my tree i focus heavily on getting aura node even in the templar area+ using prism archon is the key to run that many aura (enlighten ofc help alot all my aura other then haste are link to empower4/enlighten 4). i sugguest that u start by using the most important first n add more while ur lvling.

Important aura: Discipline/Wrath/HoT/Purity of Elements
Secondary: Haste/HoI/Anger

Yep 100% agree atm this:

Its worth a ton (since the build has gain popularity) if u look at similar on poe trade.

So ur wand is worth alot more then u think atm probably around 100ex (STD).

I plugged in the value assuming you multi moded 1-51 light damage and 12 IAS.
For a CI coe version:
DPS with vortex thirst: 175k
DPS with loath needle: 160k

For the Low life COE build listed on this thread:
DPS with vortex thirst: 173k
DPS with loath needle: 172k
DPS with mirrored wand below: 163k


Literally identical dps factoring in everything.

If those number are right n i think they are ur wand is worth more then 100ex then Gj m8 ur rich.

I'm leveling up pretty fast; trying to rush to the Templar side of the tree! I'm currently level 76 farming dried lake and WOW the clear speed is amazing.

Here is my current gear; This gear will all be upgraded once i get around level 85-90 (so don't be to harsh on me ^.^)





Q: What makes it possible to get over "100k DPS Tool-Tip or what are "crucial" nodes/items to get"?
Q: What gems do i swap out for my "Barrage" set-up?
