Am I the only one to skip trials?

What i do is open global 820 and give it away as usal, dont have time to frustrate my self with that mambojubo.
I need to be desperate or in realy good mood else, skip.

It's the real problem: To put a barrier of kwnownledge a bit before the act 4 in normal. It makes no sense at all.

1st off, how is that a barrier when it is not mandatory in order to continue to act 4? I never do the lab when I'm in the current act 3. If you want to do it you can, but no one is forcing you to do it immediately.

Also, labyrinth is not HARD. it's ultra easy when you know what you do, geared or not, over leveled or not. But when you are "ignorant", it can be extremely difficult, even undoable.

Aren't you noticing that this is true for almost all of the content in the game? Why would labyrinth be a pushover when you need the same prerequisites for merciless, for maps, for atziri, for shaper? It is the essence of the game to research and inform yourself about the encounters if you want to do them flawlessly.

My cousin who seems to enjoy the game would never get into maps if I don't force some knowledge on him, let alone do Izaro. He already died 2-3 times in the lab on his own and will probably need my help in order to finish it, but why is that a problem? He is having fun discovering new things in the game, so that time is not "wasted". No time is wasted as long as you are having fun. And frankly, if the game is no longer fun for you you might need to find a new one, not bitch about it all day long.

A constructive criticism post would be good enough, but this constant yapping about how people hate lab is really disturbing. Even if they decide to change the current situation it won't be because you keep playing the game and are feeling bad every time you go though lab. They will do it if you provide some feedback on their game and if you stop playing it (which will be beneficial for you if you instead have fun with other games).
I skip uber trials after 1 clear and the other trials are just a gigantic chore. I just don't enjoy running around traps on builds that are not optimised for it. I also think lab should be a choice not a gate on your progression.
lol 30 second trials, so fckin pro
Chill Jams
I'm still sitting at 4/6.

Never seen the other 2 yet in any league.
i skip them too

Trap mechanics are just awful, its a shame for POE to have such shitty mechanics

they should have added monster based ambushes, puzzles, etc instead
ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it

lab is the only really challenging aspect of this game, because it punishes failure. this is the only reason why people argue about it.

No.
It might be what you believe, but since I have another reason you are obviously wrong. Just to nail the coffin shut. Do you play hard core? If so how does playing HC NOT punish failure if by our opinion, Lab is the only place players are punished?
I love ARPG because of what they are. I actually loved doing mindless Baal runs in D2. I love just doing mindless monster bashing in PoE. And the great thing I get to decide exactly for how long I want to do it.
Entering Lab is entering a grind which has a predefined length - you HAVE to do the whole shit or it's time wasted (that's what I feel). I don't like the introduction of jumping puzzle game in an ARGP. Almost feels a bit like coming from the epic Ultima 7 and 7 part two, to Ultima 8 (god damn jumping puzzles...)

The lab is the jewel that makes PoE shines so well, so much inspiration, great designs and interesting mechanics have been put into the lab, I'm surprised a minority of players hates it tbh

GJ GGG, keep up the good work.

It's just not much fun. It's not a fun platformer. The controls aren't precise enough and hitboxes aren't obvious enough for it to feel satisfying. Mix that in with not being able to see very far ahead. Just irritating.

This x10.
Nope. Trials are free currency for me. I would love to have trial in every map I enter. Trials takes me 1-3 min (burning one is long, so 3 min)
Why would I skip opportunity to get 4x Chaos Orb in 1-3 min?
