Mr. President, we cannot allow the existence of a screen-gap!

Everything must be nerfed!
Everthing must also be buffed!

I swear. You people are so weird.

It's not wierd to demand balance between builds from a great game like this. Or do you want everyone walking around with lightning arrow because the state of the game now everyone (including me) is a moron for not playing a lightning arrow build.
IMO - game balance in A3 is total fucked. A3 cruel is harder than all of act 1 merci .. yea that makes sense...

Yes , bosses should be hella tough, but trash mobs... time for some serious balance crunching guys.
GGG - Why you no?
Joanna, I think GGG agrees with you. Certainly they know that they introduced content without good balancing, and were expecting to have to balance A3. They said so in a thread.
If this is referencing the Piety on the 71 Temple Map, she either needs to be relocated to a 75+ map or needs a major drop in damage, potentially both. With 4.5k hp, and 83% lightning resist she two shots me from off screen. It really is an incredibly broken fight. In order to get into range (for non off screen spam builds) a topaz flask + elemental adaptation + purity is REQUIRED. Imo, that is badly designed.

You know fighting this insane Piety isnt really a good idea at all.

It was a highly dangerous map, no need to do it, almost every class/player would have died probably, but Kripp did it.

That only shows he is a good player with good gear, nothing else.

Im against taking away the challenging parts of the game, with the map system you can create special challenges with the intention to be special challenges.
Why would i want to nerf this?

Yes melee is underpowered in POE atm, but it has nothing to do with the things you mentioned, nor did you post any evidence for this fact.
Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

AS title shows. I've just watched kripp downing an INSANE Piety. Some things in this game truly is next to IMPOSSIBLE for ALL builds that HAVE to be ONSCREEN in order to down certain mobs and bosses.

That video shows the map Piety, with the exact set of mods on that map that would make it very hard.

This very hard end game content is exactly what we have been asked for from the players with extremely well built characters at very high levels.

After Kripp's video, I got messages about how that boss is really too easy, and other players had downed that boss with similar mods much faster.

We will continue to have hard challenges in maps, and we will continue to allow mods on maps that make some challenges harder for some builds.

Turbo League...... *cough cough*

It also shows that hitting stuff from off screen is broken. If you get on the screen you need to have a minimum of 90% lightning resist to not instantly die. This is poor design, imo. I do not say this very often when it comes to GGG and PoE, however I call it like I see it. This is not a challenging fight it just forces you to use very specific things (topaz flask / elemental adaptation / purity). Sorry, but that is bad design

If it's great for "the players with extremely well built characters at very high levels", then it surely must be good for PoE...
