Hillary Clinton

Bill Still reporting on the Dems' scramble to provide for a replacement for Hillary:

To think that Chelsea's name is being bandied about in some quarters is beyond outrageous! Dynastic connections are NO qualification for public office. Anyway, pretty sure I saw somewhere that, according to the laws of 40 states, Hillary's name would have to remain on the ballot, though. =^[.]^=

Global problems, from violent extremism to worldwide recession to climate change to poverty, demand collective solutions, even as power in the world becomes more diffuse. They require effective international cooperation, even as that becomes harder to achieve. And they cannot be solved unless a nation is willing to accept the responsibility of mobilizing action. The United States is that nation."

(Hillary Clinton quote)

I agree with this. Hillary Clinton was suggesting to give weapons to the moderate opposition in Syria in 2012, just like former CIA director Petraeus and many politicians with knowledge in foreign politics:

Maybe Obama should have listened to her, then Isis would not have been that successful. Of course you have to support groups against ISIS, if you don´t want to do the job on your own. Even my country supported Kurdish groups with weapons (so did the US, Italy, France and Britain), which Germany rarely does(into active war zones, unfortunately I think when it comes to weapon exports, we´re just behind the U.S. and Russia), because they might fall into the wrong hands. I think, it was a good decision.

Germany to supply arms to Kurds fighting IS in Iraq

Isis has weapons, territory and money. Humanitarian help is necessary, but someone has to fight(it´s important, how, so it does not lead to more extremists in the end, carpet bombings e.g. like suggested by crazy Cruz are irresponsible and ineffective) them as long as they control territory, after that it will become more difficult.

Ofc there are other strong players in the region with their own interests: Saudi Arabia, Iran, Russia, Israel and Turkey + some small rich Arabic countries like Qatar.

But remember, all this is the result of decisions by Bush and Cheney. I think the invasion of Iraq has created the most complex geopolitical situation I can remember.

It´s a tough decision, if military action is useful or not, the two wrong answers are "always" and "never". From my perspective, Clinton was probably right while Bush was irresponsibly wrong.

Where were you when Hillary's campaign unironically attacked a cartoon frog?

GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
Meanwhile, CBS attempts (clumsily) to cover for Bill's slip about her frequent faints:

Without the help of a complicit media, Hillary couldn't run for dog catcher. =^[.]^=

I don't think Trump listens to directions well enough for a Pygmalion transformation to occur. I expect buzzword policies and a primary focus on what Trump's campaign tends to perceive as Hillary's biggest blunders.

If the moderators don't allow such derailments, Trump will have lost a couple of key cards from his hand.

OTH - if Hillary starts drawing blanks with a 500ft zombie stare, it's all over.

IOW - expect an earpiece - maybe on both of them.

The veteran's forum the other week was a trainwreck for him, without the entertainment factor he is nothing (good moderation wouldn't allow him to melee through the whole thing, and fact checking him would be a hard nerf). Why the fuck do you believe such stupid conspiracy theories? The evidence for that is absolute crap. Clinton may be shady and sometimes show poor judgement, but she actually knows her stuff (and I'm expecting her to be fine for the debates) so she doesn't really need earpieces.

Trump has a dark talent for making people believe truly moronic stuff. Shame.

Rather than discuss Naivety - let's flip that unfounded assumptuion you made around and say:

Hillary has a talent for making people disbelieve truly obvious stuff. Shame.

Did you consciously choose to use Hillary's campaign rheotoric of "dark", or did it come to you unbidden somehow, like a quick surge of anger?

Whenever I see that "dark" term regurgitated, I can feel the Trump hate flowing through the Hillary supporters making tjem strongerbtogether as they embrace their Arkansas side. They might as well chant Hillary's nominal death march: "Dumb dumb dumb Dumb dumb Dumb Dumb dumb dumb dumb."

Young Anakin Trumpwalker started out as one of the good guys, then the Imperial Senate lead by Emperor Reid Palpatine turned him into a Sith Casino Lord. In the end Darth Trump turned out to be a good guy and brought balance to the government.

Trumpsaber has a nice ring to it. Since the millennials will be casting Boba Votes anyways, maybe Trump should reach out to them?

In the meantime - "These are not the ear buds you are looking for" - movealong.org

As fot Hillary, I find her lack of truth disturbing. The Wall will be completed on schedule.
