Hillary Clinton

While I haven't at all read this topic, I feel this video (Rules for Rulers) might be interesting to some of the politically inclined people here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rStL7niR7gs

I enjoyed the video very much, and think that it is pretty topical to the thread. There are tons of reasons we can point to, in hindsight, for why Clinton lost. This video illustrates a very important one:

The last time Americans entrusted Clinton with the keys of power, (Sec St), she sold them to the highest (foreign) bidder. She ran her office more like the dictator in part 1 than the elected leader in part 2 by utilizing only a handful of keys, and relying on criminal acts to camouflage her chicanery.

Alternatively Trump promised people more keys than they've ever had before in their political lifetimes. In 2016, the people, above all else, wanted the keys to their country back (also why Bernie was so popular).

Thanks for sharing, I will definitely check out some of his other videos.
Another allegedly good video from the same person is this one involving death and dynasties: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ig_qpNfXHIU

lol, I was sent a video of kids marching against trump last night, pretty hilarious stuff. They were chanting "fuck trump" and "this is what democracy looks like", the cameraperson interviewed one of them briefly and he said he was proud that people turned out and their voice was being heard.

Im fairly sure democracy looks like a vote, like the one they just had and lost. That was their voice being heard, thats what a vote is, we dont need people on the street shouting to know a lot of people didnt want trump, over 200 elec col votes went against him, it didnt go unnoticed by anyone that a lot of people didnt want him. But more went for him, thats why hes now president, thats what democracy is.

Bunch of entitled, clueless little twerps. They believe in democracy, until it doesnt go their way and then they have a little tantrum like spoiled brats. This is why everything is in such a sad state, even the conscientious liberal forward thinking youth are utterly clueless and delusional when it comes down to it. They dont have the smarts to change the rotten system.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

They're basically just emoting in the streets. They aren't protesting anything, they have no coherent rational message. They are a mob of people that want to be an emoji for 2 or 3 hours.

Yup, sad but true. Feeling like playing that Metallica song now, lol.

That's why I voted for Trump: to change the system as much as possible. Tired of the elitism, pay-to-play, and general corruption in DC. But if another non-establishment candidate came along that was electable and less radical than Trump, I would be voting for them. Everyone knew third party candidates didn't have any hopes of winning anything, but people sometimes still vote with their "conscience". As for me, I prefer to be more practical, logical, and realistic with my vote.

I would tell them to hold onto their anger until trump actually does fucked up stuff. It doesn't mean though that the decked is not stacked, or that smarts alone is enough to change that.
My motto is, Punish people for what they have done, not for what you are scared they might do. Trump has a few things to deal with yet before taking office anyways, but he seems made of sterner stuff than nigel farage, but there is always the possibility of catching trump in line looking to get that Canada passport before dealing with the fires he has set.

We need a way to see if our vote was included in final tally, I don't trust mcCrory and his cronies as far as I can throw them to do the fair democratic thing.
Hey...is this thing on?

You're welcome to pop in at todays's Monday Music thread on Disqus:

It's not usually political, but today... I suspect the song you mention is already posted; plenty of others, too! The comments section is the meat of the thread. Tell 'em I sent ya! =^[.]^=

Why hold on to it? Why not channel it towards accomplishing some of the goals that they want? They could get petitions going and come up with a cohesive list of ideas. Even if Trump didn't use them, the leaders opposing Trump could.

The people could use their efforts to try accomplishing some of the goals themselves too.

Your state doesn't give you a way to verify that your vote was tallied correctly? They need to get with the program! I wouldn't trust them either, no matter who they were.

At that point, why would you trust the large green check mark next to "YES, YOUR VOTE COUNTED!"?

They could just change it, but judging by the speed of thought exhibited so far it will take them another election cycle or two to figure that out.

In the meantime, one of the Pizza places made famous through Wikileaks recently (post election) changed their logo:

<-- This was the old one. (No, I'm not making this up, and it isn't shopped)

They haven't updated their Itunes app logo:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/besta-pizza/id1051886707?ls=1&mt=8

You can go to the FBI's website to see what it means.

If 4Chan ends up getting the necessary evidence*, then we might want to ask if the FBI is still relevant any more?

*There's some bold claims, but I have no idea what is legit or not. I will say this, they are determined and efficient as all hell when they've put their mind to something.
