Endless hunger + Acuity synergy was ninja nerfed.
Due to the wording change on Acuity, it no longer provides life "leech", it now provides life "gain", thus we lose the endless hunger synergy. :'( This build still works just fine and can still leech instantly, but with the loss of the over-leech honestly a different class / ascendancy is probably a better choice now since the only thing slayer now has for this build is the cull and bleed & stun immune (which are great) but not sure its worth an entire ascendancy for this. no u are wrong, it says gain life and mana from leech indtantly on critical strike.

" It is not working. I have tested it and there has been multiple Reddit threads and threads on this forum of people experiencing the same exact problem. When it comes to POE vernacular, gain life functions differently than life leech. Another example would be using life gain on hit (gem or affixes on items) works perfectly fine in a "cannot leech" map, whereas life leech does not. With Acuity now saying "Gain life ... from leech" it is still a gain function, not a leech function. But yes, non crits will still overleech ... but only 7% of my hits are non crits. oh ok, I didnt think of running that high critchance. I always preferred any other gem over ICS, maybe thats why I dont feel any difference but more dps with 3.0 coming.

Since you get used to the double dipping meta pre 3.0 with your blade flurry, I don't think you know the difference in DPS means without strong meta build. It's only by dozen of seconds only. All this time that I play my build pre and post 3.0, I do feel the clearing speed in shaper is faster now. I use Shaper as a standard measure for clearing speed. | |
" So, despite Endless hunger works the same as before where 20% overkill damage is leeched as life, it won't work with the new mechanic of Acuity. Since Acuity only gain life all the time on crit, the overkill damage is leeched as life can't even happen since life is gained first. Damn, this explains why my regeneration is much lower after overkill everything in my path. Thank you for the info. | |

ah I forgot that I dont even have 20% overkill leeched as life, cuz I play Scion.
anyway, due to still having normal leech with full life, damage on full life gem is working, bloodrage is working and no life flask is needed. @Aalhamas I dont need any double dipping mechanics or meta build to achieve as fast shaperkills as pre 3.0...
