How much time have you wasted in the labyrinth so far?

Still on Normal, and I've only attempted the Lab 4 times so far, getting better each time. The first time, I ran into Argus, who murdered me; the 2nd time, I hit a type of death trap I don't recall seeing before, and bled out; the 3rd time, I passed the first Aspirant Trial, and then died to a nasty combination of monsters and death traps; the 4th time, I made it all the way to the 3rd Asp. Trial, and died to Izaro. So, yeah, the Labyrinth is hard... but it feels beatably hard, and I feel like I'm getting closer to succeeding with each attempt. On the whole, I think I'm happy with the balance; it's a real challenge, but doesn't feel like it's out of reach with a combination of patience, persistence, and a little luck.

I lost 2 lab runs to two of the three server crashes during the launch - about 1.5h of time I guess. My third attempt was then successful. So 2h of normal labyrinth + about 10 minutes for the trials.
On cruel I went there a bit prematurely (level 52, lol) and died when I took a screenshot of Izaro's phase two (namely, the 12 endurance charges he featured, because my DPS was nonexistent and it took forever to kill him in phase one). That run was at least 30 minutes, as I spent quite a lot of time killing Argus.

But, I would not call any of that a "waste". I was enjoying myself. :)

I play hardcore, usually I'll be further into the game by now, but I've had a bit of bad luck this league. Had to reroll 2x already and I haven't even gone into the laby yet, my pc has been crashing in-game, but I think I've fixed it now. 3rd times the charm I hope. I'm mainly annoyed by the extra content, A3 is already 1.5x as long as act 1 and 2, and act 4 is just a slog. Especially Kaom's path, running through 3 difficulties and add in the laby its just.... boring? Anyhoo, I think I'll skip on the laby until im halfway done with cruel, go back and do normal then.

2 h on normal. 4h on nightmare.
But 5h of that was like exploring all the ways, possibilities, playing anxious.
The last run and succesful one on nightmare was just run skip run skip run skip.
Look at the map where you are after you enter new area. That helps to navigate inside.

And Izaro is a lot easier when you don't start third combat with 3 conduits,2 essences.

This fight is like disable his special add mechanic more than dps him or evade something crazy.

I remember when Act IV started people complained a lot about Malachai HP and fighting him was long.
This kinda looks the same.

It's a new thing we don't know at the start. We need to learn it.

~3 hours. First time went in too early, second time misclicked and ended dying, two times since Amsterdam servers' just kicked me out near the end. To be honest it's getting a little frustrating. Not sure if I should call my ISP yet.. Everything else on this 200mb cable line is working fine and dandy.

It's damn hard, Izaro has a shit ton of HP and definitely enough damage to 1HKO you if you attempt it when it first opens in each difficulty. I beat normal today though at level 41 and it was awesome, I didn't mind that it required some overlevelling.

wasnt even izaro that killed me...

first time i went in i was underleveled and demolishing everything. ran into "the pet" he damn nearly one shot me. i logged out to reset the dungeon. hardcore as it is.

went in again to map things out. izaro has ridiculous hp? spawns too many adds? what is up with those things that do frost/flame/lightning nova? i don't understand. logged off because izaro was kicking my ass.

got some levels killing piety and dominus. only thing that was left for me to do in act3 after all. ran aqueduct 3 or 4 times too and got to L34. went back and killed first stage izaro. he spawned with conduits. too bad i wasn't fast enough to keep them all down at the end.

continued through labyrinth. slain by stupid tower blades with saw blades running between them. might i add that some of the sections i ran into seemed like you had to take deliberate damage or not go forward.

How the heck are some of you guys taking 1.5+ hours in normal? I ripped my first
character in hc very fast (I tried to fight that side boss anubis or something) but the second time through had to be 20 minutes tops. Even with exploring everything I can't see it taking nearly that long. I do realise cruel and merciless have larger layouts, but damn thats a long time for normal.
