[2.5] Greedy Roomba - MF Blade Vortex Assassin (63/329) - Atziri Viable - Solo T10+ (37/40) [Videos]

Thanks a lot for the advice :)

It improved my clearing speed by like double.
Blood rage is really good and thanks to the jewels I have now 4.6k life.
Hi there!

I started playing PoE last month and decided to emulate this build. I thought it would be a wise decision in order to hoard myself some wealth.
As i progressed doing T8 maps i find myself struggling to get beyond them. Sure i manage to clear "Shaped Graveyard" if the rolls don't include enfeeble, vulnerability or increased critical strike chance but the struggle is hard and getting HK from some mobs is a (very) likely occurrence...

Frustrated with not being able to progress, i invested my savings in Armour (6 exalts) and swapped some gems to increase my DPS (16k) deviating from the MF orientation to a DPS one. I feel there is room for improvement but i lack the knowledge to tweak my character further.

I would be lying to say i'm not feeling desperate for advice because i'm getting sick of clearing (read: cheesing my way thru mob packs and boss) T8 maps for loot and penalized XP rates...

...thank you all in advance! :)

This is my current setup:

My main character is "FuriaFatal" the others are just currency mules, don't take notice! :)

I should mention that i bought that Armour yesterday (didn't manage to get the color coordination i needed yet), i leveled most of the maps wearing a Tabula Rasa with the following gem setup:

Blade Vortex > Increased AoE > Faster Casting > Added Fire DMG > Item Rarity > Increased Duration (~12k DPS)

Hey PuroMalte,

I think you've made a common mistake with your weapon choice, the increased physical damage on Cataclysm Edge and Mightflay are only increasing the damage of the weapon, it doesn't effect physical spells. So if you want a dagger to improve your DPS you should look at this list for Spell Damage, Crit Multi, Spell Crit and Attack Speed for whirling blades: http://poe.trade/search/anadennomanito

Currently your chest is 2G4B, you should use this setup: Blade Vortex + AoE + Spell Echo + Controlled Destuction + Crit Multi + Poison. If you still want to use Item Rarity swap it from Crit Multi.

You are missing a Cast When Damage Taken (CwDT) setup, you can put this in your helmet: CwDT + Immortal Call + Molten Shell + Lightning Golem.

Your jewels on the passive tree should have %increase maximum life as well to help, and your Ascendancy points really need to be put into Unstable Infusion and Deadly Infusion, I would also recommend removing the "Doom Cast" spell crit cluster and putting those into Power Charges first, they will synergise with the Ascendancy points.

Your gear is good aside from your Topaz ring, get one with life and dex you need for your chest armour, and your boots can have life, movement speed and resists, Steppan Eard are more for CI or Energy Shield based characters so you want something more like this for a life build (you can also get Dex on boots or add it with Tora/Haku): http://poe.trade/search/etetaninazikah

You should also get an Instant Divine flask, one that has Bubbling or Seething as the prefix, you can craft these using Alteration and Augmentation Orbs. I advise dropping one life flask and using a Jade or Basalt flask instead and drop the Mana Flask and use Atziri's Promise instead: http://poe.trade/search/umeyakininomor

Hello Mr.G!

First and foremost, thank you very much for all that insight in such short-notice! (vows to you)

Regarding having Cataclysm Edge equiped, the sole reason why i did it is to gain +25 strength points to equip the gloves and helmet, the goal was to equip a second Divinarus and go dual wielding with daggers...

...the reason why i use a mana flask is because the reserved mana with the Warlords Mark + Hatred combo usually delays the stack of my BV... ...any tips on managing those three skills?

You don't need to get to full stacks of BV, Warlords Mark will allow you to Leech mana off mobs you hit so that will replenish your mana and allow you to cast more, I usually cast 4-6 stacks and then engage the first pack and then get up to 8-10 while they are being hit. For bosses you can just use Vaal Clarity to get to 20 stacks if you need to.

Once you get Deadly Infusion your crit chance will almost double so you should notice a significant increase in damage, you just need to do the ascendancy in Cruel, you can do merciless as well, do you plan to stick with the DPS version and not use MF?

I was kinda hoping i could use both... ...is that possible?
Yeah, it's always a balance though because MF takes up gem slots that could be used for damage and requires items dedicated to item rarity and quantity, but you could go for a smaller amount of MF and still do good damage, something like 20% IIQ and 150%+ IIR would be achievable with some good Ventor's, Sentari's and then a few rare items with good stats and rarity as well.

How have you found the build now that you have Deadly Infusion from the Ascendancy?

For the very first time in weeks i'm clearing T10 maps without fearing for my life. It really transformed my character and opened a new perspective on how i play and evaluate build potential. I'm still in debt to you G, thank you so very much! :)

Just wanted to thank you for the build. I've been playing it since 2.4 came out.

Unfortunately I've reached the limit, and that is T15s. I've even done some t16's but only in party. Solo I just could not finish the bosses, simply gets rekt. I've cleared all the game content, inc reflect with dual curse maps, twin, Blood magic etc, but hit the wall at Core and T16's bosses. Didn't bother trying shaper.

Nevertheless for farming t12- 15 maps/uber this is a fantastic build.
Cheers, yeah I've managed to do three of the Guardians so far solo, I still haven't managed to find a Lair of the Hydra, but I think that one will be easier than the Chimera - he was the worst so far. The Minotaur is farmable for me, the Pheonix should be as well (not deathless) but the first time I fought him it was a corrupted 8 modded map with 80% boss life, 30% AoE and immune to status effects so even Vinktar wouldn't shock him.

I have my doubts about the Shaper, thinking of swapping to CI just to get the replenishing shield and higher effective health pool, but Vinktar's won't be half as useful as a Pathfinder build. I've slowed down a bit but with the new channelling skills coming I will probably try and grind out the next Guardian kill and swap to CI, then test out one of the skills.

I went back and played with my MF setup on standard yesterday and was feeling pretty safe in T13-14, kind of miss it!

Edit: Took two attempts but finally killed the Hydra as well, the first map corrupted to an 8 mod nightmare, but I got it down to 50% and worked out what to do better for the next try, died a few times but did it and now have 36/40 and got the portal!
