2.6 Renewed Leary's Auramancer (Spectre, AW etc)(Great flexibility, Shaper farming!)

Since we don't double curse (and I'm not sure if an offensive curse would help since we try to stay away from mobs) taking the 3 nodes next to Whispers of Doom seems like a waste. That's 3 points for 10% curse effectiveness (4% slower enemies).

With those we could take ~330 more ES or another jewel or add a point and get the essence surge cluster.

1. yes, this is mentioned.
2. We dont shock with arc, cuz no dmg. Also, mobility > more mana cost on your targeting skill
3. Vertex =/ shitty. But, a +2 minion gems hubris with temporal chains curse effect and 350+ es should do the trick. Good try getting that. Its about the +1 all gems (for empower to give +2 zombie lvls), and the high es, not the reduced mana cost.


OMG im was soo trying to overthink this that i forgot vertex was +1 to ALL gems in the setting ... lol indeed it is the go to item here ... yeah empower just makes zombies dmg exponential in the equation.

Thats not 4% slower enemies. Maybe on the tooltip, but not really. If you have a lvl 4 enhance, in +1 boots, ur 20% temp chains gives about 56% slow, meaning that its an increase from 56% to 61%. This is equivalent to saying an enemy moves at 44% speed to 39% speed, which is more like going from 100% to 88%, which is a wopping 12% less attack/cast/move speed to enemies (not accounting roundings etc, should be more like 13-14%). This isnt even accounting the incremental returns from stacking this curse effectiveness. Also, it keeps the option open of running double curse.

Yeah but I don't use enhance or +1 boots. If I ever get those I might change it back. For now 330 more ES is definitely better for me.
I thought about double curse but I don't see how it can fit without dropping something. And the existing auras are way more useful than flammability (which is probably the best 2nd curse choice).

I dont think that you get how incremental returns really work. Even without lvl 4 enhance and +1 boots, the difference is bigger than it sounds. Even if you have only the 20/20 gem and no enhance, but the 30% curse effect on helmet and from tree (the other nodes), than that 10% is gonna put you from 54% to 57%, which is still a difference equal to 46% speed to 43% speed, or otherwise said from 100% dps to 93.4%, so a reduction of 6.6%. Keep in mind, this affects you and your minions, instead of just you, affects the amount of damage you take, but also affects how much you can dodge. In some cases, the difference is gonna be waaaay more than that 6.6% that it comes down to. Good example is atziri, in which case a .1 second of extra time to dodge can mean the difference between getting hit by a spear/flameblast/stormcall or not.

For a second curse, you shouldnt use it with sentinels, only if you work with the physical + poison way, vunerability is definetly a worthy pickup in that case (doubledip effectiveness).

About the es btw, this imo is really only better than the curse effect if you dont have enough ES to survive oneshots (8ish k energy shield. From there you really dont need more, and really do need the extra window to be able to recharge. Damage in this game is very spiky, and 330 es is gonna save you less than that small extra window of time)

Actually I know exactly how incremental works. With that 330 ES and the last level I got I reached 8K ES which is pretty useful in T16 maps. Sure I'd like to have that extra curse effectiveness but In my opinion it's not worth 3 points for one curse.
Minions die less often than I do. Actually the only thing that kills the sentinels is Malachai slam. Zombies may die in bad maps but they're easy to replace on the fly. So I need the extra protection more than they do.
Taking 6% less damage is not as useful as surviving that one-shot super hit (which is what the extra ES helps with) as you mention.

Well, yeah, thats basically the key-deciding point imo. Calling the nodes worthless is different than this. (I didnt go into the curse nodes before lvl 90ish either, just because of this)

Well I never called them worthless. As we both said it depends on what you need. I just did 2 deathless chimeras and ES is really needed in there with the flicker strike attack.

Man, the amount of ES. I can pull 7.4k so far.

Would love to be at at least 9k, but don't see that happening without an insane helmet, or dropping the shield which is esential to auras, for a rare es shield.

Upgrade your jewelry Id say. You can still get more flat es, and int on your rings, as well as upgrading them to unsets (cant imagine you need such high resistance rings, as you get a lot of base res from auras and prism guardian. Upgrade belt to a crystal, and the amulet to something GG-ish (int +dex/str, 20%+ es roll and high flat es should be a significant upgrade.

After that it really is all work in the tree around es nodes and jewels with %es and minion damage.
