Unfortunately I could not get the fix too work on windows 7 x64.

Possible fix:

Uninstall VC_redist.

Go to :https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/971058 and use the auto fix windows update errors.

Run windows update (make a system restore point if you think updates might break you system).

Or just run windows update.

we need a fix for the qoute " update operating system, Operating system not supported."

I think this might be intentional because windows might have put ggg up to this so they can make money........Just sayin. (they) = Microsoft. Microsoft paid GGG To do this so they can get people to randomly buy windows lol. Because GGG is not offering a solution .

this breakage was not part of expected update!

i must say, not once in my 3 years of playing, have i ever encountered an issue this terrible with this game, not once in my 8k+ hours (steam and official included) playtime have i encountered this.. :/

That does nothing but make windows ask me if I want to upgrade to windows 10. I still have to install the vc redist manually and still have the issues. :/

Yeah well unfortunately my windoze can't be updated, as then I will hit the stupid non legit (yea I was one of the ebay suckers who bought win7 ultimate on the cheap, and sure it worked for many years but then they disabled the key - which sucks for me).

So I am at this stupid winblows crap once again, I did however find a solution in a dell bios mod and oem image years ago, just never got around too actually put the bios mod on and installing it, I guess now my hand is getting forced.
