is lightning coil really that good?
" Physical damage reduction depends on damage you take (note the word ESTIMATED). You may have "40% physical damage reduction" when taking 500 damage, but you will have close to zero when taking 7k damage. Check the Wiki for the formula. This is not the case for Lightning Coil, which always mitigates % of the damage. And in the end game, you can expect more big hits, meaning LC mitigates a lot of damage. " ^ THIS! @OP: Remember all these "Buhuu I was oneshotted by a Devourer" threads or the "Oneshotted by a Plummeting Ursa dropping out of thin air" threads, with a LC this shit will not kill your char (unless you are ll glasscannon). German saying: Schönheit und Funktionalität in Sekundenschnelle zu ruinieren, ist dem wahren Dilettanten keine Herausforderung!

I like using a LC as cyclone. I use enfeeble and fortify on slam and have 48% reduction since the bug fix few days ago. I was torn between using Coil or a high Armour tunic since I dont need another 6l but I feel it helps out on the vaal giants or powerful crit mobs on t12+ maps. I get my end charges via vengeance- endurance on stun. I dont have a taste of hate but I use a Rumi's.
