PoE is an average free to play game and a good ARPG. Nothing more nothing less.

Actually I agree with what you say in general terms but probably would not have put it quite that bluntly.

The game is not ready for masses due to number of not yet fixed things... But this game can only go higher when taking into account they release patches so often and that they will IMPROVE act1!

Well, the game doesn't have a purchase price acting as a filter against a lot of obnoxious children (and yes, I realize not only children are obnoxious, but price doesn't really filter out adults, and that not all children are obnoxious, but it seems that a higher percentage of them are).

Luckily, the difficulty/atmosphere seems to do a relatively decent job of that. That's the one thing that could end up preserving the quality of the community over time.

improve act1? act1 is the best act in the game imho. act 3 is actually, in my eyes, totally screwed. the environment, the monsters, areas ... nothing fits to the old poe feeling.
when an act needs to improve, its act3.

If u have seen those numbers on Xfire or w/e the peak of PoE players on the OB release day are in average to what u see for a normal day D3 playing session.

Imo only first half of act 3 is bad. Alchemists, flicker strike undying zombies and those big things summoning bugs are really annoying.
But I love the second part with blackguards and temples. Sun temple is my favourite place in game.

Let me give you an examples:

500k people are the basic player amount.

- 450k people play PoE for a month, they don´t like it, but just want to try it until they reach the endgame. After this month, they post countless threads here in the forum, all like "PoE is totally crap, why isn´t it like game XY? I don´t like it, bye bye!" So they are gone, without a donation...

- 50k people play PoE for a month, they love it, and think it is the best ARPG you can get on the market. They make suggestions, how it can be even better, post their builds, discuss about items and so on. And because they love the game, and the way the devs communicate directly to the players, they donate by buying ingame points.

And the you take a look at a graph, and see that 450k players had left the game in a time of only four weeks!!! And it´s clear what you think: PoE is already dying after a month!

Act 3 is awesome, ofc it doesn't feel like the "old PoE", because a new act has to be, well, new (?)

Most things were to be expected. What was not to be expected that one group would suddenly dominate the whole ladder, gaining what others gained in 10 hours in about 10 minutes. It seems to have frozen the top page of the ladder.
