lol this is exactly my sentiment in D3. My poor Wizard =(. I'm not at end game but I hope I don't fall into the same boat, hopefully RNG saves me!

All the people's complaints about the game here are actually the reasons why I am playing Poe.

I like the gameplay's difficulty at end game. It is not mindlessly kill all mobs and clear each area, then do the same route all day long in D3. You have to plan your build here.

I like the fact that there is no ah, because you cant buy what you want in seconds. You actually put some effort to get the item you want.

People who leaving poe for d3 are actually making the poe community better in my opinion. So its becoming more alive I think, not shrinking or dead. And we are still in beta ffs.

Pretty much. Like i mentioned in another thread, it will take a while for D3 players to filter out and leave, then we will not see garbage like this anymore, and we can have our forums back.

Compromise, realize almost immediately that you will not be able to get more than 2-3 preferable stats per item, then figure out a way to maximise the probability of these required rolls, by distribution per item and their potential rolls, i.e. if u require fire+lightning+cold resist, getting 2 of them to roll on a belt or any other piece of gear = win. By the time u reach a point where u would need to use ur currency (lvl50), u would have multiple times the amount u need to get what u need to a point where u won't be stuck, if u waste ur currency, well thats unfortunate, but a game like this can't reward mistakes otherwise its open to exploitation. Just read up on the mechanics, lifesteal has a 20% regen cap, liferegen is for kiting, blah blah blah. I for example, leapslam kite like a pussy all the time, and it works well. So understanding the mechanics, then building ur char around said mechanics, then adjusting ur playstyle to pussy mode = win
Also remember, trading and group farming (with ppl u trust), DRASTICALLY improves ur chances for good gear rolls, I unfortunately have no one I can play with that I can trust :(
