Next league shall try Warchief Totem.
Played tonight in a party with a player using that: he was wrecking everything.

Any thoughts on warchief?
Played with warchief totem (one) on my mfer to level with it (+EQ).
It felt pretty good, somewhat compareable with Shockwavetotem.
The main difference is that it scales with the weapon, which is not bad to start maps since there are dozens of great and cheap 2h weapons and facebreaker around.

I am planning one for the next league, but i plan dozens of builds everytime, that doesn't mean i will play it :P
There are so many good classes for this, chieftain (especially the leech), juggernaut (to counter potential abyssus and cheezy uber labs), Hierophant (mana/regen and pcok), Inquisitor (full ele crit), berserker (that more dmg), Scion (pc on placement)... hell even duelist classes and assassin have their advantages.


Besides that, i will never ever play again in a public party. Had a few ones the last 2 days with my party culler... and i 2x faster with my culler and his 0 damage nodes equipped with a cauterizer than those guys... its horrible! The only exception was one KB and a BV char in like 60 chars i played with...


On standard i toyed around with a max block varunastra aegis EQ gladi which is tanky as fck and deals significant damage. Facetanked dual daresso without issues and stuff like that. Dorys catalyst is insane on it, too. Good phys dmg, the ele dmg is nice for HoA + hatred + added fire while still being able to use voidheart on top. Big eq explosions + burn/bleedploisons on kill just wrecks everything.
The budget is just relatively high (Taste of hate, legacy lightning coil, aurora aegis, varunastra, actually good rares for the resists). There was not a single mapmod that i couldnt do, including reflect :p


whatever, the next build i create should be able to do Uberlab with all keys on a safe basis and clear t15 maps with 95% of the mapmods while being fun and not Fotm :p

RFT can do that, but i already played 3 of those ;)

258% life
204% armour
5,8% lifereg + totemleech
106% totem placementspeed
512% dmg
79% atkspeed

The intention is to use a 2 handed mace, but can also use axes or swords (for staff its better to go crit). Just swap those macenodes to axenodes.
In addition to the fat life% its possible to use Kaoms Heart.
Essence Worm ring for Hatred without reserving life.

Thats it, pretty simple.

Gems might be Warchief + MeleePhysical dmg + Melee dmg on full life + Inc AoE + added fire dmg + faster attacks.

techgems are phys to lightning (phys reflect map to help those totems) and concentrated effect (bossdmg). Both instead of inc aoe.


the rest is utility like leapslam + fa + fortify + golem, Hatred in the ring, cwdt Immortal call setup, Some vaalgem (haste or lightning trap) and vulnerability (or enfeeble) selfcast or with curse on hit.

similar build, with crit, more jewels (for crit), but less life.

Abyssus helmet, juggernaut to counter the drawback a little bit. the accuracy node is great for critbuilds and make the accuracy nodes way better. Similar gems like noncrit, except the critchance gem in for added fire.

Which made me wonder, but GGG should use proper words here, But....

from the description, Can I assume Double damage stack with 2 same golems?

Or should I only use one Flame Golem for damage and one stone Golem for sustaining RF degen?

Elementalist is great for many skills, but not for rf totems.
Conflux? doesnt work with rf.
Prolif? doesnt work with rf.
reflect reduction? totem build.
aoe + dmg? yeah fine.
penetration? doesnt work with rf.
golem? fine


Your link also says: "does not allow stacking the damage bonus from multiple of the same type of golem, but will grant the player increased damage for multiple types for each unique type of golem summoned."

There is also nothing you can do with the liferegen for the totem due to stone golem.
First, with a chieftain it doesnt even get dmg from rf.
Without chieftain regen of the player (and stonegolem) has no effect on the totems.
Increased damage from the player affects totems, playerlife or regen not. The same with playerresists, armour, evasion... Basically only offensive stats work for the totem, the only exveption is tokuhama which grants 50% of the playerarmour to the totem

Achieved my 1st level 90 in the game, took me only 1008h and a very solid OP build, got my 1st uber lab and atziri on HC. Thanks Milky for the build! ;)

Just killed Uber Izaro with my first HC char at this build.

I ever wanted to play RF Totems and so I gave it a go in hardcore. I really love this build. Playstyle is not much different to Bladefall Mines which I also played in SC but not that boring. And not as boring as most of other builds (CoC Discharge, BV). You have to watch out for positioning yourself and totems, trigger buffs and EE and running Searing Bond.

Furthermore the defensive options of this build are impressive !

Good work with this build, leveling was a charm. I switchted directly at level 32 to RF totems. With 2.4 I will go with this build as well as it will be not nerfed. Its my 6th or 7th build in prophecy league and finally found a fun one for me.

I didnt use Conc. Effect for Izaro he moves to much to hold him at one position and never used it so far.(at T9 Maps at the moment). Also im running i always with Lesser Duration instead of Inc. Burning Duration. Much smoother for me. Especially while mapping. I'm missing Rapid Decay too becaus of Offcolors on my 5L.

Currently i am building/playing a War-chief-tain, using blood magic (not needed but i want the life) with dual warchieftotems, southbound gloves to gain frenze charges and other on kill stuff, voidhearth, kaoms heart and other shit.

Hit 8.1k life atm, can run any mapmod in the game and shit. Pretty similar to the rf totems, i really like it.
