Lets make some fucked up map mods.

→ Player is ignited after getting a killing blow
→ Enemy spawns two clones on death (including the boss)
→ All flasks apply Bleed


The flasks apply bleed is absolutely killer. Brings subtle rage just thinking about it.
Of Honesty, suffix.

"Our terrible economic design forces us to make awful mods as a currency sink -100% max resists"

"Malevolent" - 5 unique items drop on the body of a slain exile. (Temptation to find a way to PK a party member, hardcore only!)

"Deadeye's" - "Attacks and Spells that do not connect with an enemy reflect x% of damage" (dodged or blocked damage wouldn't reflect, an LMP spell would only reflect if all projectiles miss, etc.) Deal damage deliberately or pay the price!

"of the Doppelganger" - Map contains a hostile clone of a party member. (tp's in near players during the level)

"of the Void" - after x minutes, the Void spreads outwards from the map entry point. (Standing in the void ground drains life per second, clear at a decent speed or you're forced to leave or die.)
"of singularity" - Map has only one portal, quantity increased by 500% rarity increased by 500%.

"Iron Born" - "What is dead may never die" Necromancers can reanimate anything including other necromancers and map bosses

Core boss now spawns Necromancers.

"of Mutilation" - Enemy hits apply a "-1% max resist" stacking debuff on the player.

Totally doable if you never get hit. The debuffs would clear when you leave the zone, so you could opt to sacrifice portals to remove the debuffs as well.

As they say, be careful what you wish for...

1) When Rares and Unique bosses make a critical hit, there is a 5% chance to cause the player to drop one piece of equipped gear.

2)Item filters are disabled

3)Maps drops only white items

4)Uniques cannot drop

5)No currency drops in map

6)Rare monsters can cast portal on character (if it hits, character is sent back to hideout/lab)

7)Fraternal Twinned: - Two unique bosses, both randomly assigned from any map.

8)Player's IIR and IIQ do not apply to map

9) All item drops are free for all

10)All items are permanently allocated, but no drops are allocated to map maker

11)Sanctuary - rare and unique mobs are protected species and cannot die.

12)All monsters drop a map on death, maps cannot be picked up.

13)Sound notification for drops is doubled, but item drops do not appear on screen unless cursor is hovered directly above the item (the old Diablo 1 system)

14)Flask effects are inverted (resistance gives monsters penetration on that element, immunity for x secs, gives double damage etc)

15)Doppleganger - Player has appearance, stats, gear, and skills of a random unique boss. Map has one unique boss per player, and has 2-3X that player's stats,skills,gear etc.

16)Corrupted Portal - Upon death, rares have a 5% chance to cast a corrupted portal summoning 3-12 rogue exiles. Rogue exiles drop no items on death.

17)Back Alley Surgeon - critical hits on monsters drain a charge from all flasks.

18)Illusion - monsters are likely not as they appear on screen or when highlighting.

19) Fraudulent - Items have different appearances on screen and in filters. Items will only show correctly when picked up or placed into inventory.

20)Corrupted Masters - Item drops can only be picked up when mission is complete. Map has 1-3 of some Master's conditions such as

Vorici - Unique bosses/exiles cannot be killed, all other magic and rare monsters must die, - open bosses Treasure chest - do not kill boss, No magic or rare monsters can be killed, all other monsters must be cleared. Zana - Timed with standing stones, lodestones, Haku totems are plentiful

21)Player is silenced

22)Streaking - Map monsters have reduced life, reduced damage, reduced speed, reduced defenses. Map has increased item rarity and quantity. Player is naked while in map, with no gear.

23)Gridlock - Players movement skills do not work in map and have base (starting character) movement speed. Monsters have 50% increased range on their movement skills and 20% increased damage on hit. Area is inhabited by a diversity of monsters with movement skills such as Devourers, Goats, Blackguards etc.

24)Duplicity - hidden stat granting: Greatly increased XP, but player and map's IIR and IIQ is negative. Greatly increased IIR/IIQ, but monsters killed give no XP.
