Glad you enjoy it and yeah combing through the forum would be a nightmare. I have killed atziri in a new league on a 4 Link Kaom's Primacy @lv80; however it was a 15-20 minute run which is slow-ish. Obviously a 5-6l boosts your dps and clearspeed; you can always run a tabula rasa if you feel to weak.

Thanks! Will try this in the upcoming league.
Thanks for your answer about the corrupted gems.

"
Corrupting a gem (using a vaal orb on it) has 1 of 4 outcomes and the process is irreversible however a corrupted gem can still gain experience.

+- the quality by 1-10% (cap of 23% quality)
+- the gem level (cap of lv21)
Convert the gem into a Vaal Gem (Assuming a vaal gem exists from it Ex. There is no Vaal Tornado Shot)
No effect (other than adding the corrupted property)

Every gem benefits from being higher quality or level. Some scale better of quality than level and visa-versa. For example Spells almost always scale very high from leveling so when your at the point of upgrading your gear near perfection you want to the the highest quality/level of each gem for your build to make you as efficient and strong as can be. let me know if this answers everything.

But what happen if i use a vaal orb on a gem, and i get a vaal gem if i don't need it ?

For ex: If i vaal orb my 20%q cyclone, and i get a vaal cyclone, i just loose my 20%cyclone.

So how to do it ? Maybe on low level/quality gems ??

Yeah that's the risk for vaaling a 20/20 cyclone, it could become vaal cyclone. Thats why players often level 6 cyclones ( or whatever there primacy skill is ) in the weapon swapped sockets and make those gems 20/20 aswell overtime. It takes around lv92-93ish to get a gem leveled twice. Once from 20/0 then you vendor it with a gcp and it becomes 1/20. Then back to 20/20, vaal all 7 and hope for a 21/20. Your really just better off buying the 21/20 cyclone and vaaling gems that cannot be irredeemably destroyed, such as support gems or aura's (most).

Made a brief video @4Am of Daresso's Salute not working with bloodrage; with and without life gain on hit.

One Of Many Daresso's Salute Convo's

Tested with Daresso's Salute. Mid-spin I regain my Movement speed, and my damage goes up.
So this basically confirmed Daresso's is a near-always +60% melee damage buff, which makes it very viable for a Unique Amulet, easily endgame viable.

The only downside would be against prolonged boss fights, where you usually do shorter spins, general mapping best fits its purposes.

Just purchased a Daresso's and tested it myself only to confirmed my suspicions; it does not work with Bloodrage active which makes it basically useless lategame. If it was a more multiplier like the original melee on full life gem instead of 60% increased you can maybe merit dropping bloodrage for it; however that isn't the case. If you really want to use it for the +2 weapon range you can however a rare amulet will easily surpass it.

Sorry Lighty but this is not true. I use Daresso's Salute with Blood Rage and I can make a video proving Daresso gives me the damage and movement speed increase on full life as long as my HP is at full life. I Have 139.2 Life Regen per second, and Blood Rage gives me 1.2% of physical damaged leeched as life on attacks which with 2900+ of my damage being physical is about 34 hp gain on attacks. With just blood rage on if course I will lose HP and thus Daresso does not give me the movement speed or damage increase. However if I am attacking anything my HP stays full, and i get the movement speed and damage increase. This is far easier to comfirm on cyclone than any other skill because I can right click anywhere and i automatically spin to that location at which point i can hover over my cyclone skill and confirm the dps dropping after I kill the monsters or stop attacking. Since you only need the movement speed increase and damage increase when you are killing stuff then there is no reason not to use Daresso's unless you have something better already. I find the increased range much helpful especially combined with Herald of Ash.

Tested -20% -40% -50% -60% -100% regen, vulnerability and both types of reflect maps. Still doesn't work

Hey, lighty. I just got a pair of gloves that has 1 prefix 1 suffic opened for crafting,
In your opinion, is the lifeleech better or attackspeed better?

(1 prefix 1 suffix is open for crafting)

Attack speed is valued way higher and scales much better. Overall we get all the life leech we need from bloodrage and Hematohpagy; even more so if your using an axe from Splitting strikes.

With the release of the Ascendancy Trailer and start of the release notes/info we've been granted a glimpse of what early 2016 has to offer for cyclone. The main/only thing I see so far that effects us are the Ascendancy sub-class passive tree's. As of now the marauder tree is lackluster compared to the duelist tree's and if this remains Duelist will become the new better choice for cyclone class. With slayers massive damage nodes and Champion's perma-fortify Duelist is going to give Marauder a run for its money for top Cyclone class. I'm unsure weather we get to fill out the ascendancy tree or if we can dip into multiple trees of the same class, only time will tell. The difference between Duelist and Marauder has always been minimal and soon may be the tipping point in which class takes a firm hold as the one true Cycloner.

Potential Ascendancy Tree Candidates:

After doing more research...
"you get only 6 ascendancy points ( 2 per difficulty I assume ) and you can only choose one ascendancy path ( which prevents dipping into different paths of the same class; but potentially 6 points within the same path can be split"

What Slayer has to offer:
  • 10% increased attack speed
  • 43% increased physical damage with two-handed melee weapon
  • hits deal 100% increased damage against enemies that are on low life
  • 20% chance to gain onslaught on 3 seconds on kill
  • 40% increased damage against rare and unique enemies
  • 20% of overkill damage is leeched as life
  • .2% of attack damage leeched as life
  • 30% increased damage while leeching
  • 5% increased attack speed while leching

Hi, Lightly. Thanks for the great guide. I'm enjoying the build so far. I had a couple of questions though. I'm around level 20 and struggling with the INT to keep leveling Firestorm and it's support gems. Should I try to buff INT with gear? All of my passives are going into STR and Life so far. Also, do I even need my 2H mace now or should I make some +1 gem skill wands? Thanks!

Making a +1 Sceptre/wand is fine and you should use a Int amulet or/and craft some additional int on your jewelry via elreon.
