They cant add Dragons because Dragons are Dragons.

E: How the hell do you see a Dragon in Diablo's design?

It's more like giant lizard. With a touch of model's walk in D3 (that was a hilariously bad idea, XD).

Eh..? Kinda..I guess. I don't see it.

Look at that tail and the body. It's a lizard or dinosaur. I guess it would be a Dragon if it had wings.

I see it even less. Dragons don't walk around on 2 feet. /

I didn't say it was like a Dragon, and honestly, the whole "it doesn't walk in 2 feet" things is a moot point to make. Whatever.

I'm not sure I'd like to see the beast be a dragon per se. But if it was a single monster battle like many of the other end bosses, I wouldn't mind seeing some classical elements attributed to dragons. Dragons come in so many varied designs, it is difficult to not see an element on a large creature boss and not see something that a dragon in some fiction has attributed to it.

I've been wondering if a final boss call the beast is something very different from a dragon. Not just in design, but in scale.

So far as design, I like that people are talking about Lovecraft references. That would be pretty cool in my mind. I've been hoping, in the back of my mind, that the beast is something akin to the Ancients ( aka Old Gods ) from Eternal darkness. Ulyaoth, Mantarok, Chattur'gha and Xel'lotath all looked so other worldly and interesting, I think just seeing them makes the mind go ' uh...wtf ' . Which kinda fits the uncomfortable horror of the new act.

I'd also like a boss of such scale, it makes one on one battle an impossibility of scale. I'd like it to be something you take out in stages. Only fighting a part of 'The Beast' at a time as another Cataclysm begins around you. At first you are like the buzzing of flies to Vigo...erm The Beast. However, as you go through the sectioned boss fights, and work your way to the head or heart or whatever, more of the attention is focused on you.

Just something I've been hoping for. Something that ramps up the scale.

Where does all the dragon gear come from? dragonscale armor , dragonbone rapiers, wyrmscale etc... I can see the armor being a style and not actual dragon scales, but the rapier? why call it a dragonbone rapier.

there seem to have either been dragons , or there still are dragons somewhere.
I was wondering why there were so many dragon bone rapiers and dragonscale boots lying around and no dragon enemies.

It would make sense lore wise to see dragons in the game.
