Tone down Heralds effects

I think they're fine. And I also miss the old Auras. What's your beef OP?

OK, I'm gonna go full retard.

How about creating individual effects for mixed heralds, instead of trying to blend them?
Ice + Fire effect
Fire + Lightning effect
Lightning + Ice effect
Ice + Fire + Lightning effect

Yea I feel like when I buy MTX for weapons and stuff, I can barely see them because I have 2 heralds on, PLEASE make them a buff on the floor and not on the hands.

The effects for hitting mobs is fine, the hands are just overpowered. The heralds show through shields and makes the game look cheap and stupid, get rid of these huge herald hand buff mess jeeze. Thanks!

This is my Windripper ele TS char. It's one of the few chars I've put much effort into looks-wise, and I really like how she looks. She's dark, muted, kinda creepy. Mad Max kinda vibe. The Anger/Wrath skulls, while glowing, don't detract from this because they're still somewhat dark (and they're flaming skulls).

But then I put my Heralds on and she looks like she's at a rave drowning in glowsticks. Which would be fine if that's what you're going for, but doing anything else is pretty much impossible with Heralds up.

Additionally there are clipping issues when standing still (cuts through her legs), when she's firing arrows (cuts through her neck), and when she's moving (cuts into her stomach/overlap poorly with each other when running with a bow).

The hand effects are terrible.
The picture above really sums up the thread. On the left, the character looks awesome. On the right, she looks awful. The Heralds are ridiculously overdone and transform cool looking characters into ugly characters.
An option to turn on / off these effects would be much appreciated.

Hulkcore's example is spot-on. I can't stand them either.

I like heralds. More glow is better to my taste :) I have no problem implementing tripple heralds to my divine weapon effect. With dual daggers it looks super cool.

Its the whole thing. HoA has a decent 'glove effect'. Stacking the effects makes every single one of them worse. The on kill effects are too dominating and make most builds feel the same.

As far as I am concerned theres no need to rework them. Some people like, other dislike them. A simple option to disable the 'glove effect' would suffice. This shouldnt require a lot of work and isnt forcing you to come up with new ideas for a skill that probably lack ideas for.
