RIP my Eldritch Battery + Arctic Armor + Mind over Matter Scion. And I fear her LMP Incinerate may not be safe either.
On the plus side, it looks like the new Eldritch Battery may open up 100% mana reserved characters. |

Nerfs? Ok, no problem. If poe will be not as boring as it's now.

Loving how everyone whines about change.. Change is good! If they never changed anything we would all still be playing low life dual spork totems.
I'm personally looking forward to the changes, I think they're well deserved. Burn prolif was ridiculous, Ondar's was OPOP, especially with acrobatics. Getting rid of shotgunning is great (sorry FP and incinerate) but I'm sure GGG will compensate for those skills. We get new skills like they mentioned, so it won't be an issue. They're bringing melee to life.. Which is fantastic. Melee has been not fun to play for a long time now, and hopefully it will be in 2.0.0 I'm personally very excited for the rebalance, my friend and I beat all of normal in a bit over 1.5 hours, which is insanely fast progression. I'm also excited for it to be more friendly towards new players, as that is the main contributor to a lack of fresh meat. Also, I'm sure if you've played the game enough, eventually you will get in to the closed beta, so don't worry about it. They've already stated you'll have plenty of opportunity for other things that will be going on |

" no one needs to test a nerf to c if it do suck, nerfs make things worse, thats why they are called nerfs |

After 'elemental adaptation' now 'inner force' finds
the GGG-typical nerfing-death. "[...] Monsters should be a fair bit scarier now. [...]" Don't wanna make players life easy, hum? Sorry, but I'm not so excited! My InGameName: Aui

" You and all other players have to admit, "elemental adaptation" was just to inbalanced. +2 to all max ress? c`mon, it was just to OP. |

" This is pretty much the same functionality it had before. With Old EB you reserved MOST of your mana and the regen that EB added was more than enough to keep you from going out of mana. In your example New EB will allow you to reserve all of your mana (*which equates to one additional aura) at the expense of mana regen. will this one aura make up for the loss to mana regen? The simple answer is No. The complicated answers is It depends on how the extra mana from the New EB is used and recharged. If I can reserve all my mana and still have 5000 EB mana to cast with I should be able to clear large groups/ bosses easily while only charging between fights even with 6-link'd skills. The interaction with AA seems to be the only downside but as to how that works only time will tell. AA is often cited as being too OP because of the flat damage reduction. However, that reduction is necessary for Builds that use EB since the gear with the largest ES amounts dont have armor or evasion. Last edited by KateM#4409 on Apr 20, 2015, 1:00:08 PM
