What happens when Closed Beta starts tomorrow?

one word BULLSHIT ......
been playing this game for about 3 years now.....go tell GGG !!!
people love power dont love losing power .....and chrits the almighty balance adjuster is been doing just that.... already have lost 50% user base may be even more ... this no shot gunning, more armor to monsters ,multiplicative dps increase no base dps increase , inflated frenzy charges, no eldritch battery, lol no more buff efect increase !!! IS TAKING THIS GAME DIRECTLY TOWORDS ITS DEMISE>

lightning strike DEAD
molten strike DEAD
tornado shot DEAD
spectral throw dead already! DEAD AGAIN
RF dead already! DEAD again

Calm down chicken little, the sky isn't falling yet. These are the first notes of the biggest changes of THE VERY FIRST ITERATION of the closed BETA. There will be so many more changes in this very first beta patch than we know from this little post here.

Most spells you mentioned are not even affected. Also, some projectile damage will be highered as result and these are NOT patch notes.

I don't think like you. "Critical strike chance and attack speeds of Weapons" is the only part that I want to be explained.

In fact I think TS gets a great buff in this act. First of all, top players use TS to clear maps (lots of mobs at the same time) and Puncture for bosses, so they'll keep farming Atziri and so on as before. If I'm not mistaken, is there a gem that turns dex to str? That should buff ranger tornado shooters with lots of dex. Now TS should move from crit to pierce builds, so players should need more Drillnecks. Just check Neversink's build. I think they'll be able to clear maps much more easy if they can move dex to str.
What have been nerfed a lot are rainbow nukers (Mjolner Arc+Discharge) but only for bosses. You use Lightning Strike for packs of mobs, but Molten Strike for bosses. Now bosses get less hits with that build.
Rangers dead? Ranger tornado shooters mechanics is to avoid direct contact, so that -20% less should not affect that much. Simply keep moving to avoid direct contact.
CoC builds, they'll nerf only the boss fight, but clearing maps will keep much the same as with barrage or kinectic blast you hit multiple targets at the same time. Well, they'll use much more KB instead of Barrage to clear packs.
I don't know why you think Lightning Strike is dead. Pretty much the same as previous examples, the lightning chains or pierces (with q gem) through mobs.

Does EB works now like a Blood Magic for Mana?


Edit: Just saw that the jewel is transform str to dex. Well, then it would be more possible to build a Marauder Tornado Shooter.

Okay, the point about changing existing unique worries me - does this possibly mean nerfing ALL existing uniques, including legacies? That would be unfair to all who've invested their hard-earned in buying them.
