Technical Support - server started lagging, whatsup? - Forum

I just want to say that it may not be GGG's fault. Just today i played PoE and Realm of the Mad God. In both games, around like 3-4 hours ago i started getting lag spikes. I am from Europe, i think people here with the same lag problems are mainly from EU as well. It appears to be maybe some kind of a pathing/routing issue in EU. I am considering getting a VPN to "avoid" such issues now and in the future. It's been happening from time to time in the past like 2 months. If you're experience latency issues to the EU gateway, would you be able to post up a WinMTR report to both the EU and the US gateways? If you do connect to the US gateway, do you still experience similar latency spikes, or is it only when connecting to the EU gateway? High base latency, and frequent spikes. Game is basically unplayable. American GW seems fine, apart from the 290+ latency. I'm playing from Hungary.
