We might indeed change base types as PoE will be constantly evolving. One thing to keep in mind though is that the fourth difficulty will be removed when act 3 is added. That means there will be 3x3=9 acts in total, compared to the 4x2=8 acts that we have currently. The change in level will be quite small, and act 4 isn't exactly around the corner, I can say that much. :)

One issue i'm noticing is that certain base types *cough imperial bow cough* are absurdly rare compared to others for some reason. There are no lioneye's glare on hardcore that are in the hands of actively trading players (if any at all) and it's basically a build enabler for me -_-

Kaom's Heart too :( Got a character in Merciless that can't continue until I pick one of those up, as I planned the build around it. Been 'available to drop' for weeks, but I don't think anyone's gotten one yet. If they have, they certainly haven't said anything about it.

The OP should really update Limbsplit to not link to the pre-patch cheesy twink item version.

TehHammer's one above is a good example. It was in this very thread that we got GGG feedback about Limbsplit balancing.

I thought that we had had at least one post-patch Limbsplit posted already, didn't mean to be abrasive.

Ahh, I see the difference now. Perhaps I should read my own thread a bit more, lol. Consider it updated.
