It could work, just not in its current state. As it is now, the gem already knows that any attack linked to it is the trigger, and any spell linked to it is what will be cast. With 2 spells linked, it would have to have a way to differentiate which one is the trigger. They could make it go by gem order, so the trigger spell would have to be before COC gem, and the spell that gets cast would have to be after.

Cruel difficulty has been removed.

-Melee Gems add a bonus to all defenses when leveled up. This bonus is also increased based on the number of support gems connected to it.

-We realize we well beyond overshot the mark when we were reducing the ability to get to max block chance. Block nodes in the the tree are now overall closer to each other, and the density of clusters has been increased. The amount of block given per passive has been reduced across the board so that while it will still be a significant investment to reach max block chance, it is now possible to do without sacrificing most of your tree to get to max block and also being able to pick up damage nodes. The counter gems have been adjusted accordingly.
