one super-lucky Scour-Alch and 4-chaos master-craft later, I got

it's a downgrade for the skill, just like I said in OP.

Physical To Lightning.
elemental damage seems to be so much better in Merciless.
I only lost about 500 tooltip DPS, but smacking against monsters' armour as opposed to just steam-rolling through them, is a very noticeable difference.

thanks man, but I can't take something unless I can give something pretty-much equivalent in return.

currently I'm using the 5-link posted above, and finally got to use the Abyssus - which turned out more insane than I anticipated.

still miss my beautiful 6th gem, and wish upgrading a Tabula Rasa your char "grew with" into a proper 6-link, was a viable option for people like myself who aren't "rich", or didn't require trade at all... yeah well "Economy über alles" right? even skills your character uses.

that, or roll the dice and let RNG fuck with your sanity.

dropped. not bought. from an "Inner Treasure" zombie coming out of a bland blue strongbox. because risk/reward is extremely strong in the game, and it's totally not just dumb randomness calling all the shots.

and assuming your superior brain power can make a 5-link, why don't you show/explain to me how?
and then use same superior brain power to actually read and understand I want a 6-link, not a 5-link. because 5 is less than Tabula's 6. a.k.a one less gem.

you can just stop posting bullshit.

Why don't you just upgrade the rest of your gear and then get the 6-link last.

Physical to lighting hardly makes a difference in a static strike build compared to the large variety of upgrades you can get on your other gear.

It's the same difference between Arc between Arc - Faster Casting/Increase Crit/Leech- Lighting Pen - Spell Echo - Empower

6 link would just be something like faster casting for a tiny bit extra damage (assuming you leech for noncrit and increase crit for crit)'

Also level your masters to do the the fusing convert, if you do it everyday + getting your own drops you'll get it within a month. Even less if you sell or covert other orbs into fusings. If you wish to craft your own 6-link or trade for it.


6 link and rasas are a extreme trap for most people for both gear and time efficiency. Very few skill link combinations would benefit you more from an extra link compared to doing other stuff with your gear.
