ok just got curious and looked at AXN's shop
" I don't accuse you of accusing him :) Anyways, those streamers are playing a different game - Path of Exile, AXN and folks like him are playing Path of Economy, they are two very different games that just happen to exist in the same online realm. It's not that hard to make decent amount of currency in this game. Last thing I usually do in a league is set up a shop and the chaos come in pretty quick and steady. The difference is that I tend to collect and drop mediocre gear that I don't bother investing in or crafting. I figure if I sold the cool stuff I found instead of hoarding in (on the offchance I might ever build with it), I could probably make exalts pretty easily. If I used that currency to craft stuff, I could probably make 10s of exalts. Of course, once you get to that point you have to start competing with people who are really good at crafting and trading - and while I can level a character up pretty well and pick shit up off the ground, I'll never have the skills, patience, or brains to work the trade game to that level. Plus it's Standard, you know, thats like what - 2 years worth of accumulation? Once you get a million dollars, its pretty damn easy to make the next million.
