ok just got curious and looked at AXN's shop

You dont need that much currency in poe. You need perhaps a lot but not that much. If I had that much curency i would stop to play because I'd loose the *hunt feeling*, the hunt for gear you need to play the character you want ( the hunt for currency to buy the gear actually, but whatever )

Those guys play economy game, they fight for the game status, who is richer. Do you think you would ever need that much currency as they have to play the way you want, to play the build you wish, to buy all the maps and forget about rng?

"Rulers of the economy" you say... perhaps, but not much honor ruling in a video game

They need it "to be someone" here... plus when you have that much currency rmting can earn you some nice cash

I like to play in standard.
I know that I have crappy gear and slow progress but I just don't care.
Unfortunately, there is no single-player-offline-poe, but it is possible to ignore trade.

On the plus-side: there's a ton of good gear that costs almost nothing because everyone wants to buy super-mega-op-stuff.

Another thing: Buy that #1 bow, #1 dagger, whatever easypeasy-weapon and the whole game will be boring as hell. Might be fun to faceroll everything but... more than a day or two?
At least for me, there has to be a fight or I'll play something else.

If you made it from a casual player to *ruler* you RL is PoE. Im not salty, Im just dont understand why ppl talking about them like about gods, Im not against them, if they having fun from what they are doing I will only support them for doing that

and honestly jhon, both of these guys who have the best weapons in the game have worked tremedously hard to make them... note the fact that i said make, not find, none of those items are found.. each one of them costed hundreds of eternals and exalts to get, maybe even thousands in some cases like daggers and staffs which can roll many hybrid mods.

the amount of currency they spent making them is so fucking insane i honestly dont mind paying for a mirror fee

just for you to get a sense of perspective, i know that carrion bite(corsair sword), which is much easier to make than daggers, staffs, wands and other shit, had at least 500 eternals put in it... 1 eternal in standard is around 4-5 exa....

Tbh, first time I saw his shop I felt just like you but then I realized that there is nothing more meaningless to me than the belongings of other players. I could never afford a single mirror item but who cares? Even if he had 10 times the currency he has now how would that affect my gaming? Is my gear crap compared to other peoples gear?
