ok just got curious and looked at AXN's shop

So Manocean, I am struggling to understand if you have since changed your mind from the "How does this affect you?" standpoint. Now you have seen that the game has been nerfed numerous times because of GG gear do you still think it's existence doesn't affect anyone but the player using it or have you realised that stashes like AXN's actually have an effect on everyone whether they like it or not?

Well, let me ask you, how does someone else having a stash full of OP items affect you if you dont intend to PVP them ever? Simple question, should yield a simple answer. So please. Because no other people ever affected my play style.

If the game is balanced around those items existing then I and everyone else playing the game is affected by it. Simple enough?

It is.

And in a true random loot distribution scenario, you would be wrong i think.

However, with the implementation of atziri and "guaranteed" unique drops, this content does indeed have to be balanced around the existence of legacy's, otherwise those people would get a free passage to the loot.

Any person who believes this can happen in the real world should look up what happened to Microsoft in the 90's (and still endures today).

Or the phone industry in the 1900's...or....the recently fights between Samsung and Apple. The list goes on and on.

IF this were a real world economy, Axn would likely go through a similar path of antitrust party time fun.

Well, I can't blindly believe that correlation implies causation in this case.

The items would exist no matter what (because eternal orbs), so basically what we are saying is that the fact that items exist in the game that are rolled as well as possible have a large impact on the majority of players? I'm not entirely convinced the evidence is substantial enough to be adamant that these items are the sole reasoning behind a change.

I am especially skeptical because these items exist in Standard, and the main game takes place on ladder leagues (i.e., Torment and Bloodlines) where items this powerful will almost never exist.
