I agree it's non-issue in the short therm ladders, however i don't think GGG wants atziri to be trivialized in the other league's and therefore has to do the overall balance with the best gear in mind, which just puts the power-curve in favor of standard/hardcore players.

This is not necessarily a bad thing since it creates additional challenge and glory in a short therm league.

I think content additions are balanced around the entirety of league's that exist and mechanics are balanced around the short therm league's.

It would validate the "every short therm league is a beta for it's apparent league" line of thought before they are implemented into the core game.

So when looking to see weapon upgrades (presumably to get better gear for himself) he stumbles upon the shop of one of the richest guys in the game and his response to this is to further gimp himself by completely detaching himself from the system?

Hey guys I just heard about some rich guy called Bill Gates. He has all these monopolies and rides our so called "economy" like a cheap whore. I will never be 1% as rich as him so I'm saying fuck this economy thing and am going to live in the woods like a hermit and survive by the land, fuck this whole economy thing.

Sometimes putting a different perspective on things can help show you how fucking stupid you are. Realize that your dissatisfaction simply comes from envy and not any actual flaw in the system. The world is not meant to be equal or fair.

AXN shop is an awesome place to go check out GG item.

It will never affect your gameplay unless you play by jealousy.

Actually, Bill Gates isn't the richest man in the world. Bill Gates owns a company that offers services for affordable prices. Whether his services are "The best" is debatable.

AXN is pretty much the richest person in this game. AXN offers a ridiculously expensive service. His items literally are the best.

Sometimes understanding how an analogy works can prevent you from looking like a fucking idiot. Hopefully you learned from this.
