Can we please get a response from GGG about FROZEN SKY?
" Pohx's rip was extremely bad play on his part and the excuses he made were ridiculous. People who cried nerfs over that are delusional. I can tell you with first hand proof tho that people do die to Frozen Sky without sitting in it, I've seen my mates leap slam in to a pack of zombies without seeing them beforehand and getting killed instantly. " As long as Frozen Sky is the way it is, using skills for movement is extremely dangerous. There's always downtime between skills, but running doesn't have that obviously. Seeing how popular using Leap Slam or Whirling Blades to move around has become, it might be a good thing to encourage other forms of movement. I definitely hope they don't just slam it to the ground. Also some of the insignificant mods that don't affect gameplay the slightest need to be buffed. |

So they are nerfing the thing I died to few hours ago? How awesome. I knew I shouldn't have continued playing tonight. Ran around the corner, shot a pack of burrowed zombies (there was like 10 of them) and they instantly casted this nonsense on me. All of them. I didn't even have time to move or react. Full res of course too. I'm so frustrated and don't want to restart now/ Sigh.

Have you tested it with the last Frozen Sky hit from a larger group? I've only tested with a small group and no, it really didn't hurt.

Yup that is pretty much what I expected. I also tried to stay in the ice storm of the only one mob remaining from the pack, almost getting no damage. I also did fight a 20-ish monkeys pack with it, nothing really dangerous.

From my experience with packs ranging up to 20 mobs, the damage remains the same with the last storm compared to all 20 storms. Can't say for sure though because we're talking about so insignificant amout of damage that I don't really see my health orb moving at all.

Hmm, so they changed one extreme into the other... sounds a bit disappointing, I would have been ok with just removing it from hidden mobs, which seemed to be a bit unfair.

" Such "local nerfs" are not how GGG does it. They never did. Their balance adjustments are always "global". This requires less "work". Any mob can have any mod. Zana's timed missions appear in any tileset (even though they are broken in some sets).
