Honestly? My favorite patch so far.
I rolled the Beyond mod on some maps yesterday in Bloodlines. Running into Brutus' chamber with a frozen skies pack and the chance of spawning degen sword bros was unbelievably dangerous as hell, but boy was the adrenaline rush fun. IGN- Vyvanne | Voxxvi (Tempest League)

I've only gone through the SOTV and Forsaken Masters match, nothing before, so only these three too go on.
I don't play PvP nor do I play hardcore so haven't experienced either of these. Based on above I'd agree this is the 'worst' patch of the three in terms of new content it delivers. The Torment spirits are a bit ho hum, at least for me, they (or their possessed mobs) have only dropped just more crap rares (though I've only just beat Dominus so not yet at high levels). SoTV on the other hand introduced not only strongboxes but of course a new ultimate boss while Forsaken Masters finally made crafting moderately viable for us solo self founders (though this patch stuffed it up again for weapons with removal of hybrid phys crafting mod!) I also thing Block was WAY over nerfed. And to 'compensate' with EVEN MORE skill gems... But that doesn't mean its a bad patch, just not as good as the other two. |

Good patch, sure 1.2 was better but 1.4 is comming out next year and that is going to big.

And its not about only this patch. Got lvl70 in 4-5 days because I didnt want to rush. 90% of uniques are still for leveling, u level max in 7 days and thats it. Maps are boring, there is no reward system because 90% of uniques are leveling ones, rares are for vendors, drops are crap, and whats the point? To stack currency for standard? Wasting time ... endgame need boost 2 years or more. GGG 'made' pvp update. Ok, but thats again wasting of time. This isnt pvp game and there are lot of pvp games that cant be developed anymore because they got dead end. Im waiting next big patch and this is 2nd league im not buying anything because 5 days of playing isnt worth wasting money ... Some tips for GGG: - Invest into pve, this isnt pvp game and it will never be - New act and maps every year or two will bring $$$ - Make unique and rare classes. Leveling things into quests, ok things into mid maps and end game things into high maps. RNG is cool but there are more then one RNG. Luck to get drop, luck to get something good from that and at least 1 more luck to craft it. +1 energy shield on item from 78 map isnt RNG. Thats bad coding. - Fight against RMT. There are lot of 3rd party sites where ppl buy things for $ or forum $. U know for them and ppl r using them. In 5th day 2 ppl made party wtb mirror. Its 100-200ex and its not RNG. Same is for high level uniques. In 5 days there is no way to sell expensive things and ppl are buying things for 5+ exalts. |
