worst patch ever,i lost my interest to this game

Block wasn't nerfed, it was just altered. Now, if I understand correctly you can gain power, endurance, and frenzy charge from a single counter attack! How is that a nerf?

The uniques aren't build enabling though. I want to see a unique that makes me feel like I have something to prove that I can make it work in HC. Like Mokou's embrace was so much fun in Beyond. Can I run around being on fire in all this danger? Or the awesomeness of Dark Seer.

I see nothing like that here.

Ziggy's ring, the blindness quiver, and the shock damage belt are well designed , though. But that's just 3 uniques out of 26. This league I'm VEEEEEEEEEEERRRRY CASUALLY remaking my Beyond league firestorm character with the new brutus mace instead of dark seer like I used to have. Because of love Mokou's Embrace that much. That's it.

This is actually pretty spot on to how I feel. Personally, I think standard is now in the best shape. All sortsa cool things that have migrated from past leagues into standard, has given it a much rounded out gameplay, and without anything new to really play, why start over and over and over, especially in a game, where near three years later, I have not once seen a shavs, or Kaoms. Shit, theres still lots of things for me to do with my chars, and they are leagues old.

I do indeed love this game, but starting over every few months for *not much at all* hardly seems worth it to me.

Disagree with OP.

The best thing about the game is the amount of change the devs implement.
Block had too much of a presence in the tree. In its place we've received new and interesting keystones.
Bleed was too OP and was brought more in line with other skills. New skills never before seen are available, if the overpowered skill you used was nerfed too much for your liking.

I can live with or without pvp. It's a good thing to have it available. If you don't like it nobody is making you play it.

GGG has made a good game and they are constantly changing things to make it even better. I'm satisfied.. Until my Bloodlines character dies... Then I'll probably play some of the standard challenge league. Loot piniatas sounds fun.
Where there's one they're bound to divide it right in two.
I REALLY lost my interest to this game. They only adding new crap uniques, nerfing stuff and destroying builds. It's not worth it anymore investing time in this game until the next "patch" will destroy all your effort anyway.

Ye, patch sucks. They need to realize ppl need to have feeling of progress throughout the game... but if you destroy that progress, with nerfs and core changes, ppl lose motivation to play on. Some of us grinded for months to get better items, and now when we finally managed to do it, and to have somewhat decent builds, they nerf the builds into the ground.

And for what ? For so-called "balancing". In PvE game. Right. Don't even let me start about PvP in a game like this.....

you want PvP? go play Quake. or Starcraft. Where skill actually matters. THis is and will ALWAYS be about PvE.

I have to ask, what builds were nerfed into the ground this time around? If you had a block build that dropped from 75% to 50%... Like, that's a big number, but that's certainly not destroyed. I do feel a bit bad for Cybil's Paw builds.

that is a 50% loss of block , that is kind of alot technically.
