Zana wants you to complete another master's mission??

What were the map mods? Did Elreon's totems get extra life or physical resistance from the map mods? What about Vagan?

We did not pay close attention to map mods that may have been in play, but the level seemed to be higher than normal for sure....

NO, I do 12k with Dual Strike, and around 4k on each Flicker Strike, which also adds Enfeeble level 20 on hit. Mike does around 30k with Double Strike, and Ronnie does somewhere around 8k with Cyclone, and it still wasn't enough to take out the relics....
That is what I call Extreme dps, and yes, we were teamed up when we started the quest, but I was solo when I took the quest that wanted me to fight Vagan, and everything I said about that fight was as I stated!!

I'm not well-versed in double strike tooltips, but 12k dual and 4k flicker are poop-tier damage by their own standards. 8k cyclone is pretty bad too....

Poop-tier damage?? Explain please, because it has been more than enough for most monsters and maps I have come across so far!!

Sorry, but relics are usually a joke. Don't know what went wrong, but something went terribly wrong.

And to say something about that specific type of zana-quest: i love it. Two Masters leveling at once. Awesome.

It is almost as if Grind Gear didn't feel that the game was impossible enough so they come up with Zana, and added her to the game to give you an unreachable goal, and I have to ask WHY??

Aside from the ridiculousness I mentioned above, I really haven't had issues with the Master missions. Sure, Zana has some timed ones that can be stupid when you have to navigate a maze, but I rarely encounter those. When it comes to a mission within a mission, I like it! A chance to level two Masters at once? Sign me up. What I don't like is those Zana missions where you need to find the "map item", but the item turns out to be a crap unique instead of a map.

Yeah these things exist, I usually kill the relics in approximately 3s ea (including 1-2s of run time) in 78s, but in a zana map mod (level 76 map aswell) I got one set that took more than 50 seconds to kill 3, and since I was messing around for more than 10 seconds I failed (But ironically, If I had switched to my single target dps gem I could probably have killed it). Any not imba build would have no chance.

As far as your links go, those are specialty builds designed to maximize dps, and as such are unquestionably higher than my dps.... DUH.
Also, yes it would have been leveling 2 masters at once, but it could not be completed because it was near impossible to destroy the relics, which were NOT a joke!!

This is yet another post telling me that Elreon's relic missions were quick for them, and that is not truly helpful to me....
I am happy for you, do not get me wrong, but they were not quick for US!!

YES, I am aware that there are many NO LIFE geeks that put every precious second of their day into coming up with an unstoppable build, but I have a life, and a wife. So, do most of the guys in my guild, so this does not really apply to us!!
