I'm really surprised they didn't start like that. It should have always been that way to incentivize people to buy more stash tabs. Now that people feel they have a right to these tabs, there would be a huge uproar over changing it. I doubt anyone would even think twice about it if that was the original way, though. Temporary remove only tabs just feel right.

I'd still be in favor of them changing it to make them temporary, though.

Why should anyone, who advocates to keep temporary tabs, be allowed to have extra FREE tabs permanently?
Not only that, but if extensive use of this system is used by a wide majority of players, it will cause bloat on the system.

I don't like the idea of not transferring items to parent league. Otherwise whats the point of the temporary league? Just to try the new mods?
They should add a timer, and make a firm stance on this. Give players a reasonable amount of time to organize.
If they can't solve the problem then they need to hoard less.

On a side note, I think they should only do this after they add the new trade system.

I do not post much if ever but have to chime in here. I know Chris and the guys from GGG thought it would be nice to give people temp tabs in the beginning to help people get there stuff in order after seasons. I just don't think they saw people keeping the tabs to the extent they are to this date. It can be fixed so many different ways bet temp bags are temporary no matter what way you look at it so I think they need to fix it if it is a issue.

I don't think people will like timers or any of the other ideas being thrown into the arena. I think the easy thing to do is this. You can only have as many temp bags as you do regular bags period. so if you have 50 bag slots you can have 50 temp bag slots. It is easy and simple. People who hoard items like myself will buy more bags like I did today already and it will give them more room for temp bags at season end.

Now for GGG that will be a straight hard limit so if you end a season and do not have room you lose all the bags if you do not have the temp bag space freed up or bought for it. It will give people the extra space they want for free and when they buy bags they will be free and clear.

That is my Idea and I think it is a good one.

I didn't say it was MY best solution. It's THEIR best solution. When a kid complains about the taste of the dinner you gave them, you take it away.

If only I could choose which RO tabs get converted to actual ones... this simple little functionality should be only fair, right? But half-baked implementations are a GGG signature, and I wont support this with more tab purchases.

 I'd be perfectly happy to buy more stash tabs and do the necessary vendoring and consolidating to eliminate the remove-only tabs if I could get them as new empty tabs or GGG should let me pick which 6 to convert. Either way the problem would be gone, I'd stop posting on the Premium Stash Tab Bundle sale day, and GGG would get another $16.50 from me. That's a win-win for both me and GGG. Right now it's a lose-lose for both of us.

  Please show me exactly where in the GGG manifesto or any patch notes where it states that remove-only tabs are temporary tabs? If you can do this then by God I'll shut up on this subject forever. Also, GGG, preferably Chris since he is on record for stating this:

"We're not really concerned with people using remove-only tabs as long-term storage like they have been doing."

needs to officially clarify this so I will either shut up or those that state that remove-only tabs are "temporary" for a few weeks will shut up about the view on remove-only stash tabs.

Edit: Of course the official PoE in-game + in-website trading system is the best way to go so I can sell off some items easily.

I am using 4 tabs and i never felt i needed more. What i need is demon hand cleave mtx.
