Fate of Eternal Laboratory? RIP?

1. You still need the Lab ... to get Zana to your hideout. ;)

2. After getting Zana to my hideout, I've been in the Eternal Lab once.

I was at 95% xp and all that was left in a courtyard map was the double boss pack.
Was afraid I could die, so I played another map in the Lab, levelled up, returned to Hideout and fought the six bosses.

Other than this, I see no reason to use the Lab. But whatever, is this actually a problem?
