Hey, I'm curious if you think linking that Carcass Jack and throwing Flame Surge in there for bosses would be worth it?

for bosses i think its a worth, but for mobs and packs its a lost socket because they die so too fast

Yeah I figured. It's very awesome so far, similar to a build I ran in Nemesis. I was thinking of mobs like map bosses(Maze Vaal) etc. Since Carcass Jack is cheap without links, I figured as a bonus to throw something in there 4L or 5L... Flame Surge or Flame Blast was my thought and Flame Surge I haven't used since it was released, but I thought it might work well since Fire Trap leaves everything burning infinitely.

Explain. All I did was switch IR to more life and then some of the extra trap nodes laying around there. If trap nodes don't affect burn damage and the aura nodes are needed, then what about this?

the trap node on tree decent for this build its clever and construction, traps cant be damaged 5 seconds . . .

we need IR for some armour and hybrid gear with EV/ES to get more mana pool for artic armour sustain

I took Clever and Construction in my tree. Why not go with Armor/ES hybrid gear instead (other than carcass jack)? You're not running grace, so it's not like it will make that big of a difference anyway. In 1.1, it was with getting IR since there were DOT nodes down there along with much more life. Now it's too much of a trek for just a bit extra potential armor, that you could spend on a lot more life, DOT, elemental, fire, and mana.

This is 183% vs 138% life with IR. 128% vs 58% Elemental damage. Everything else is almost identical, and could be made identical if you sacrifice a bit of the elemental damage.
