As posted by the OP from reddit: these percentages (so, 5.5% in the case of alts) are the percentage of currency drops that aren't scrolls of wisdom or portal scrolls. So it'll feel like a lot less than 5.5% of all currency drops when you're sick and tired of scrolls.

It's not confirmable, but this is my personal opinion:

I think that a lot of the changes that we are seeing on the TW version will not be added to the version that we will have. I don't think that the unique bows (infractum, chin sol, marketh) will be changed in the version that we will be playing. I think it will have a significantly different balance over time.

There is an obvious major difference between the two game styles. Our PoE version is meant to be super hardcore and theirs is aiming to be more 'fun'. When I read about the Fairgraves buff, I thought 'wow, that's just something so simple that would be really cool'. Of course, it wouldn't really fit into the hardcore version of PoE that we have.

I can't say for sure if 6l drop rates were increased or not, but I genuinely wouldn't be surprised. I think a big factor in the amount of 6l's though is that there is an extremely high amount of players on the TW servers right now. I haven't looked at the data so I can't make truly certain garuntees on this. If 6l items cost 1,500 fusings on the TW servers from the forsaken master, then I really doubt 6l drop rates were increased.

You must be quite short-sighted to assume that drop rates alone determine the exchange rate of orbs.

Vendor recipes and orb-utilization rates all contribute to how much orbs sell for. The "low" price on Eternals simply means that Exalts are consumed at a much higher rate (yolo-exalting) than Eternals are. Eternals are only used by top-end crafters, so there is less demand for Eternals than there is for Exalts.

drop rate Alone, definately no.
But exalts are not used for yolo exalt,at least most of them are not used at all, main usage is just currency for trading. That's why there is inflated price in exalts, because the exalt pool is increasing every day, which is not the case of eternal that are all used for crafting. ( crafting a perfect item require thousand of eternals )

And definately the known drop rate will influence the exalt:eternal rate, you are naiv to think the contrary.
The only reason why eternal are so cheap nowadays it because market is controlled by the wealthiest players, the same that are using them. No coincidence.

On top of that, there will be new perfect gear to craft in 1.2.0 because of the "niche mod", so a new eternal sink.

Provide evidence to back up your claim. With the 80+ friends on my list, tons of them yolo-Exalt decent rares on a regular basis. If you open global chat, people also yolo-Exalt absolute junk on a regular basis.

The current exchange rate of 3ex:1et was never meant to be a fair representation of the actual drop rate ratio. Everyone already knew Eternals had terrible drop rates before this info was published. But if you really feel like investing in Eternals, be my guest. I'll be hoarding Divines, based on the newly datamined Masters' crafting recipes.

i playing 1,5 years and 1 eternal, 9 exalted orb drop i take. also 3-4 divine orb.
