Have you ever played a better game than this?

When it comes to aRPGs, Diablo 1, 2 (+LoD) and PoE are miles ahead of all other aRPGs.
But when it comes down to all genres? PoE gets some competition: * Heroes of Might And Magic 2 and 3 * Broken Sword 1 and 2 * Championship Manage 01/02 * Fallout 3 * Jones in The Fast Lane * Transport Tycoon * Counter Strike * Cyber Dogs * Super Mario World * Oblivion/Skyrim (Only because of the world and atmosphere) Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

Looking at D2 with a very subjective "Objects in the Rear View Mirror may apear closer than they are"-View (Meat Loaf-Song) that means it just was THE Game for an important Part of my Life and always will be the best Game I played when it comes to Memories.
But other that that it's a very clear NO, played nothing even close as great, entertaining & addictive for a Century now :) But the Point where I really think it becomes special is that PoE with GGG has a Group of People behind it that is probaly the best, nicest, most creative, craziest, most ethusiatic & hard Working Bunch of Gaming Nerds You can find for a Game like this! Keep it going! :) Keep calm, play PoE, drink Tea & listen to Prog!

" You have to judge a game based on it's time frame. D2 came out 15 years ago. If PoE had come out at the same time, no one would have been able to run it. Tech just wasn't there. D2 was a better game in it's day than PoE is today. |
