For games in general definitely Magic the Gathering

For computer games I played back in the day got to go with X-COM UFO Defense also played a lot of Iron Helix

Right now can't think of a computer game that can beat PoE

Well this game is a bit of an oddball considering where games are going. I like to put it in the same category as Dota2, sorta...

PoE is to Dioblo3 like:
Dota2 is to Heroes of the Storm,
Star Wars Galaxies is to Firefall,
Scrolls is to Heartstone,
All Paradox strategy games are to... Well every other game out there.

You have 2 kinds of ppl. The ones that press p for the first time, start crying and close the game client. And the ones that press p for the first time and then die to cannibals since they stopped paying attention to their character.

This is a great game, one of the truly great ones throught time.
PoE is up there with Fallout 3, EU4, CK2, Dota, Minecraft and a handful of other games that compromised nothing to make what the devs envisioned.

In these modern times games like PoE is what makes me not loose faith in what games can be. While on the other side of the spectrum Diablo3 shows me how easy you can fall into the trap called greed.

Huge respect to all the people working on PoE, to how i constantly come back to check new skills, new uniques and skilltree updates. How you guys constantly keep the game fresh with new leages, and at the same time make sure the game has room for something as op as legacy items since you already know this is about the players first, balance second.

Thanks or compromising nothing along the way to make the game "accesible" to new playes, knowing that in the long run "accesible" only means shorter lifetime.

FIrst of all, there are many games "better". Second this game fits squarely into ONE sub genre. Hack nslash /dungeon crawler ARPG. It's one of the best in it's genre maybe, but the over emphasis on trading and the extremely negative weighted drops on desirable affixes are brutal.
It's not better than all games. Not even close.

I'm having a blast right now as Righteous Fire. It allows me to do great dps, stay alive, and have rarity/quantity. But that's also the big problem I have with it. You could be a demi god that can clear any map, but it does you no good if nothing good EVER drops cuz you have no rarity.
You're pigeon holed into utilizing rarity/quantity otherwise your time is comparatively wasted if you don't.
Yes I played D2 and it was a amazing, but it had this "problem" as well. MF...or be prey to the trading tycoons that are out to rip you off.
I can't stand trading cuz everyone is out to flip/rip you off.
