Is Shop Too Expensive?

Is the items in the shop supposed to go down at some point or something? Because, I just can not believe that they would charge over 20 dollars for a single freaking effect. I mean, what am I missing here? I look at how much it costs to buy points and I see I can get 200 points for 20 dollars. I look at the shop area and I would say on average things cost 200 each... So, if I wanted to build a set of gear I would be looking at spending 100 bucks... to just reskin my toon... lol, there's no way... No possible way.

Game is free, people who buy effects pay for game that you pay nothing for. I fail to see the problem here.

yea, lots of games are "free" but they dont charge these kind of prices. Your argument is really pointless, because being free doesn't mean they are justified to charge whatever they wants. With your argument it would be okay if they charged 1,000 per effect because its free.

I think I've put some 150$ in the game. Seraph Armor set, Tentacle wings, Discipline effect, bunch of stash tabs, guild stuff. I certainly would put more money in the game if I could get a decent weapon or footprint effect for less than 20$. Ebony effect is fine for the price and the Razer footprint is free, I guess. Some pets are fine, though some are way too expensive.
I'll give them credit for the alternate skill effects. They are really well priced. Love Fireball, Spark and EK effects. You make my ochinchin go doki doki.

You can't pay? Don't buy, end of problem. Bethesda is known for having good ideas and terrible realization of them. GGG is a Bethesda subsidiary or what?

" Because they are purely cosmetic ( for the most part ), they are pretty much justified in charging what they wish. However, if you want to have a conversation about how to maximize sales, that is a conversation I'd be pretty interested in. If something is too expensive for your tastes, why not just wait for the sales to come by? You can also buy packs for set skins. There are a lot of ways to penny pinch on mtx stuff.
