and they probably want us testing out how the layouts of each area feels. Having special exceptions during the beta will negate any valueable information.

The way that i spoken about save locally i thought that could be inviable, but the way putting the waypoint at every areas of the game I didn't understand what you tried explain about bosses after all, this works very well at Diablo 3 game. The boss already dont have how appear again for a player which already killed him and in case that he want to flee from the boss he already have means to this using a town portal.

just a reminder, u are playing on a BETA stage, DCs and bugs WILL HAPPEN, the type of game will never allow a "save last point" because it's just the way these games are supposed to be...

I think the more correct would be on who works at the game to answer these questions or think about our suggestions because this is something really become the game very boring at various situations and unlike we will stay here presuming what can happen or not if one thing be changed of one or other way.

I would like to see this as well. At login you spawn at the entrance to the area you logged out of. Invuln timer until you move (or 5 seconds, or whatever).

" Someone didn't read first message? :) I know its beta and that it will be better later on when there won't be random DCs, BUT there's still problem of 'ow i need to quit playing/need to afk for 20minutes but Im new new area 2 maps away from last waypoint and i don't want to get here again'. As someone reminded me in this thread there is possibility in Diablo 3 to pause the game so why not here? Of course in case im playing alone and not in party ;) |

Ok, this is definitely needed. I was halfway through Pyramid, got DC'd, worked my way to the first level of the Pyramid again, and got DC'd again.
I'm not even going to bother trying again this weekend. |
