Why Path of Exile cannot be a hardcore game while desync exists

In my opinion desync is very easy to avoid simply by not doing stupid things, even without resorting to the use of /oos (I can't even be bothered to get a macro). It definitely doesn't prevent the game from being played hardcore, because you are able to avoid desync through your playstyle much like any other obstacles in the game (high ping makes this harder though I admit).

You might complain that you shouldn't have to adjust your playstyle around this, and you'd be right. But that's beside the point because you actually do have to play around it whether you like it or not. The only way to avoid this would be if they made PoE possible to play offline. But that's not going to happen.

Three simple tips to avoid desync:

1. Learn to resync yourself through repositioning without using /oos except for emergencies.

2. Make sure you position yourself so you don't get into situations where you might get stunned or blocked.

3. Use the hold still function (default shift).

If you master these three simple tips desync should cease to be a lethal problem (unless your ping is abysmal). Good luck!

Desync is not an issue for me. I dont even need to use AHK. Races are more fun with desync because without it Rukuku wouldnt have killed me when he did and not dying takes the fun out of the game. And porting into a mob and still making it out alive is a thrill i dont want to miss.

Please keep desync. The game will be a cakewalk if desync was removed.

are you stupid? not trying to be mean but seriously keeping desync? majority of players would rather it be gone than most would approve it of keeping it

My suggestion - for each ripped >80lvl char u have have the opportunity to quickly level up one new character in any way until lvl 70; like in survival arena with waves of monsters. Or - you havent experience penalty in elder locations.
