You have just payed too much and that is your own failure. I mean do you have friends online or a guild? You could ask them before buying or do some other investigations before buying it. And as i think you dind't know what your doing because no one would buy this curropted robe for more then a few chaos.

Instead of complaining here, search for a guild which can help before you buy something without knowing what you doing.

To approach the topic from a slightly different direction (as opposed to discussing the merits of the item), I would hazard a guess based on your title and the fact that you still haven't editted it that you are the sort of person who does not pay a lot of attention to details. This is not a criticism, I am the same, but rather an observation that this may be the source of your problem rather than a shitty unique.

I have gotten into the habit of double and triple checking things before making a big decision. In this context it would be double and triple checking before buying anything worth over ~20 chaos. In addition I never, ever make an impulse purchase. No matter how much of an obscenely good deal it might seem at the time or how badly I want, crave and desire it I refuse to pull the trigger if I haven't pondered the matter and turned it over in my mind first.

If you were cognisant of your (potential ... I may be wrong regarding you) limitations and had done those things before overpaying for an Infernal Mantle then I doubt you would be complaining right now. In short, if you are the sort of person who often makes oversights like these then the only person to blame is yourself if you choose not to compensate for your limitations.

If you aren't this sort of person, well, feel free to ignore my rambling.

Bit confused about this. Your colors are not particularly difficult to obtain. You can chrome it yourself if you wanted those specific colors. If you actually tried shopping you'll be able to buy such a 5 link for 2 exa.

You think it takes 600+ chromes to get 2 off colors?... I doubt it would take over 20.

He was pointing out that it would take much less to chrome it than an exalt worth of chromes.


I don't understand OPs closed mindedness when it comes to buying a cheaper version that could easily be changed. Chromes are cheap and easy to come by. Is it really worth an extra exalt to get the colors you want, especially on a corrupted item that can't ever be changed. What happens when you want to change a support gem? You're locked into those colors. Every big patch they add support gems. To decide that you'll never want to change one is not thinking about the future. But it seems that OP is not worried about the future and wants what he wants right now.

This dude is either a troll or a 12 year old.

There seems to be an abundance of both in this game.
