Without sounding like a dick, I think you just need to understand that you have to have a build which works with it. In PoE, you can't just chuck your points wherever and chuck on any item you find. It doesnt work like that.

i have a witch with fire as main attack which use holy crap load of mana, this item should be perfect for witch with fire.... but dude low mana + fire dmg are must on lvl 60 chars !

so this item, is just build rong for lvl 60 chars witch that use fire, that what i said GGG should look back on this item and do some tweaks: make him better for chars that are higher lvl and do not lose so much to high spell dmg, or tweak is to perform better for the lvl it should be represent.... 62.

im a noob player, i have no shame in admitting of that. i play for the fun, this item might drop a lot, but it hasn't for me, i bought it, with all the currency i had.
and now i can't use it since i die every sec, which never happened to me before with my old gear.

don't understand me wrong, its my fault for not reading it good enough to understand it, if i had read it well i would have never bought it, with this make me get again to the point, way is this item so bad ? if i (fire witch) should be the one that most need it, and will never want such a thing... ?

Or maybe the item is fine and you just shouldn't have used it since your character wasn't ready for it.

Infernal Mantle is a very well designed unique. I like its power (it is immense). I fear its drawback but can live with it.

1) chaos conversion is crazy good vs resistant mobs (and bypas several highES mobs).
2) 100% inc crit means hugr dps increase
3) my power siphon build uses IM and is on low mana. Spell dmg hurts on low mana. True. But spellblock etc can mitigate it. And as power siphoner i do not reflect-hurt myself as reflected dmg is elemental attack not spell.
4) it is cheap because people think it is crap.

I value my 5l Infernal Mantle as my second best 5l item after Cloak of Defiance.

How much did you pay for it? if you say more then 3 chaos then i think you have made a problem! The Item is the best if you can handle the mana costs. You using Fire (Sry bro but no skill named "fire" in this game) I think that you should play D3 its more a game for types like you. But for this game intelligent is required.

Thanks for the correction, it was german :) and yes 5l 3c thats the worth, if you pay more then its your decision. By the way i got two of them 5l and 1 6l. And nobody will pay me more then a few chaos for this item.
