this is the item i use, i bought it since i using fire as my attack force.
i actually choose it since i miss read the item definition: i fought that when low mana - I DO 100% MORE SPELL DAMAGE. well that worst feeling on earth, buying an item and discovered that u are dumb for buying it.

so i wanted to ask u all, is it make sense that it make u take 100% more and not giving a buff of 100% ?

in my opinion it make it from a good item to one of the worst unique in the game.

Good uniques should have a draw back, if not - they quickly become too powerfull. A clever draw back makes you build around the unique - making it unique.

Infernal MANTLE is no exception. If you build around it, it is an OK item. It's not great, but it is OK. You have to think twice before you use two auras, and you have to think twice before you go MoM.

But it is an OK item for low->mid level maps.

for it cost, only a high lvl map players can use it, and it not worth it, its not a OK item, its a bad item, it give almost no advantage over a normal rare item, i wasn't miss reading this i would have gone on Shavronne's Wrappings (http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Shavronne%27s_Wrappings) instead.

Its a good unique, not a bad item. I suppose anything less than godgear is considered bad.

and comparing it/discussing it in the same context as a Shavronnes Wrappings is silly. Shavronne's Wrappings is one of the rarest, most powerful uniques in the game.

u said it good for mid maps, im lvl 63 act 3 murcless im using fire as main so i have low mana non stop, i can't hold against any blue or magic monsters, not to talk about bosses, and it cost me all the currency items i had, so ya it a bad item, i do not need a godgear, i just want something better than my normal pics of rare item (which this item isn't!)

What are you smoking bro? Look at it again....It has 35% increased fire damage, plus 1 to fire gems, Converts 25% of your fire damage to chaos damage, AND most importantly gives you 100% increased crit chance. Unless my memory isn't serving me very well none of these things can be found on rare chests.

Its a pretty good chest and I doubt that you have any better rares to use so why are you complaining?

So because you can't make the unique work with your current exile/build, its bad... OK THEN!

Get a grip on yourself and read what the item does. You seem to not understand it's functions.

all this u can get from passive and gems with no trouble i have without this already almost all this affects, i'm complaining, since to a witch that use only magic as main damage source this item is a death sentence in every boss, mini boss, or blue monster that use magic.
furthermore i'm complaining since its just a bad item for its cost, and I (maybe only I) think GGG should look at it, i maybe change it little bit.

So, in your eyes, every unique is BAD, as long as it isn't end game gear or BiS? That is pretty sad.

Infernal Mantle is a good item IF you build around it, stay away from low mana (build mana+mana regen) and stay away from MoM.

Yes, there are better items out there, but you can get a 5L Mantle for under two EX. That isn't much.

What does passives and gems have to do with this? We are talking about chests, and this one gives very big boosts that you can't get on rare chests.

The real problem here is that you didn't make your build with the 100% spell damage taken on low mana in mind. Some people use this chest and make sure that they are never on low mana. Some people use it and just make sure that their defenses can take the extra damage.

It doesn't work for you right now, that doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with the chest. The problem is your character.
