Your TOP 3 games of all time

played 10 years but it's time to change :)

1. World of Warcraft: It was a lot of fun when Blizzard cared about the game,not anymore
2. Assassin Creed: As i love the story and being an assassin
3. Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time: First Game I ever played as its what got me into being a gamer

Heres odd bunch

1. Fallout 2 - one of the few games that you can "really" choose role (not quite but close enough). No other computer so called 'RPG' gets to this level. (Most RPG's being nothing more than character development adventuregames - yes, skyrim included). NOT meaning they are good games, but for me they are adverticed wrongly as rpg - while there is not much of role in it. Fallout 2 being one of the few shoot / action typeish that you CAN play/"win" trought with out single shot / kill.

2. Dwarf fortress - thisone is ascii game 'rogue like', huge amount of detail and hell of interface able to scare 99% people off. Learning curve shoots out of roof, youl love it if you think losing is FUN

3. Ultima Online - gosh good memories. Still best of the genre (mmo) tought lacks enough people (atleast on the hardcore server Siege). No levels, you, skills and your skill as player. Tought I think it was spoiled somewhat by later rulechanges / addons. Still with all, one of the most diverse games - alot of things you can do and number of ways to do em. Oh and it still costs monthly fee what I think is out of scale for such old (but GEM) game.

I have two different notions of "top", "best" and "favourite", so for this i'll put down both,

In terms of my favourite games

1.Tales of Symphonia
2.Final Fantasy 8
3.The legend of Zelda Majora's mask

And in terms of the best games (originality, innovation, refinement etc)

1.The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
2.Deus Ex
3.Resident Evil (Remake)

this is just roughly off the top of my head i'm not at home so cant check my collection of games to make sure im forggeting any game that i should give amention to XP

Hm, I don't really like to put my faves in a list, because I have way too many games I love. But these three are definitely the ones that sat like a glove with me.

1. Sacrifice (pc)
Superb voice acting, superb gameplay, great music, good campaign. Action strategy that I still play sometime even though I know most of the dialogue (or banter, rather) by heart.

2. Thief II: The Metal Age
This one solidified my love for the art of sneaking in games. I just love games where you can get stuff done without slaughtering half the population of the world. Voice acting shines again, and the story is imo better than in the predecessor, the Dark Project.

3. Beyond Good and Evil
Sneaking, fun mini-games, good voice acting, the best game soundtrack I've yet to hear, story that fits great with the main character Jade's job as a reporter. Unlike the two games above, BG&E I played as an adult, so it's the one least likely to suffer from nostalgia value.

Honorary mention goes to TES-series, which set the bar to all single player rpgs I will ever play.
