Your TOP 3 games of all time
Diablo 2
Gothic Omikron: The Nomad Soul The Nomad Soul was such a great game, but not really successful in europe. | |
1. Dark Ages of Camelot - Best PvP Concept of RvRvR
2. Diablo 2 LoD - Best Dungeon Crawler Concept with Randomized Dungeons 3. Quake: Digital Paintball - Best Physics Animation - Arcing in kills against bunker-ed snipers was just so much fun. --- Man this was tough - perhaps we should have had a top list for each major category of game. Like MMORPG/FPS/ARPG/RTS/etc... Also I wasn't sure if Console games were allowed or if it was just PC. I had one game I really liked on the Nintendo and that was Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Also to the guy who put up Star Control II, that was another great game. edit: Added Reasons. Last edited by Malfeus#5532 on Oct 21, 2011, 6:22:10 AM

" lol I never though someone else than me would have ever played Redstone :D 1)Red Stone, it wasn't that nice of a game but I never saw such nice players anywhere else, It was a small game but in my memorie it's the best mmorpg I've ever played. 2)Karos Online, I really enjoy drama so I liked it alot :) 3)Vindictus, It's really the best PvE game in my opinion, the fighting style and the way you can become your own fighter is amazing, it's weakness was the lack of PvP... 1) Diablo (Original) - First Ever computer based game. Set off a love of the dark, quasi-medieval games. Many hours of slaying and playing with the lights off and headphones on with an overwhelming sense of dread and uneasiness as I explored the bowels of Tristram.
2) SWG (Star Wars Galaxies) - Before the 'Combat Upgrade' and the 'New Game Experience' it was an amazingly unique game. With so many combinations of professions and so much player freedom it was so great because you could tell YOUR story. It was a shame that it was destroyed and I had to trade to WoW (a downgrade from the original SWG). 3)The Fallout World! - From the original top down, turn based game to the sandbox style 3 and New Vegas, I love these games. Totally immersive, once again it is a game that allows you to tell YOUR story. Not to mention Fallout's take on kinda-creepy, kinda-HILARIOUS post-apocalyptic, sorta different timeline earth, has to be one of the best ideas for a story. (Also, it is pretty much crack for a lore-junkie like myself) No gods, No Masters

1 Black & White - the first one (the second one sucked balls).
2 Gothic 2 - I think it was the bets rpg game i have ever played. 3 Heroes of Might and Magic 3 - I lost 8 years or so on that game and i would still play it today if i would have some one to play it with. |

1: The Diablo Series
As soon as I enter the game world, I am completely immersed. It is the world of my dreams. I absolutely love the path each game in the series takes me on and the feeling I have while playing. Yeah the online play is good and keeps me entertained, but the lore behind it is what really makes it for me. I mean its a world of butchers, naked act I bosses, and millions of enemies laid before my feet in combat. 2: The Witcher Series No other game has ever made me fall in love with its main characters like this series has. It is full of emotion and love around every corner along with darkness and pain. I really feel the emotions Geralt feels as I am playing and try to make the best decisions possible to help him through this wild roller coaster of a story. And when he hugs the girl of his dreams at the end (at least from my choices this was the end) I can't help but wonder what is going to happen when he catches up with Yennefer in the Witcher 3 and what emotional strain Geralt will find himself in next. 3: The Elder Scrolls Series When you talk about walking in the protagonists shoes, this game beats them all. However, that isn't the reason I love this series. It isn't about the customization or the freedom of choice for me with this one... I have to say that when I find myself in an Elder Scrolls world, I feel completely content. Something about walking through the open forest or small town in the middle of nowhere just relaxes me. And I can't wait to experience the environment Skyrim has to offer. |

1. Planescape Torment
Greatest story/writing I've seen in a video game, ever. 2. Freespace 2 This game has been sending chills down my spines since 1999. Visceral space combat never feels so good. 3. Grim Fandango Good humor, great story and awesome soundtrack. Sadly, with the current trend in the gaming industry games of these types probably won't be produced again any time soon. At least I can still hoard the old gems lol. |
