I have also tried the Bigpoint game you are speaking of and found it lacking a couple of things, mostly you get to a point where you pretty much have to group or the action slows down a lot so I gave up, I like multiplayer games but I primarily enjoy playing solo, I understand PoE is supposed to be like this so I plan to try it, but I also plan to try GD and D3, I am not stingy but I am careful about spending money on a game, after playing Hellgate Global for a while I spent some money on it.
I read it on the internet, so it must be true!

Van Helsing 2 seems pretty decent though. I'm curious how the whole tower defense bit works in an ARPG setting (never played the 1st one either), sounds like it could be pretty cool. And tbh, I don't think my schedule could handle a second ARPG. PoE keeps me busy enough. |

But all 4 games that you posted will be getting new content/expansions in the future. D3 will get minimum one more expansion, Marvel hero will be similar to PoE with free updates here and there. Grim dawn, while its not out yet, also will be getting few expansions depending how they sell.
