Again you are wrong here. It is not a dps check, i burn those minions down in 0.1 second.

It's an AOE dps check. Trivializing the "niche" of what a single target build is suppose to have, the ability to down bosses faster at the cost of clear speed.

My ek tooltip is 5.3k dps and i roughly have 5/6 ek's flying out on a Coc proq. So i would think with 30+- dps it would be sufficient if it was indeed like you say a "dps check".

Invasion COC Spec Throw Arc Arctic Breath, no problems, facetank all except the double flameblast. 95 all res, surgeons, 70 spell block. We just did a 2 man kill earlier (more everything). I use EE with some fire dmg on a ring and she dies fast in spite of natural resistance to ele. Nice part is no need to gem swap between phases...

here is a video of me killing atziri with HS and GS for ads phase.
my current GPU is crap so it's just 20-ish fps recording. and as you see you can do it on low fps as long as your char is tanky enough (since it;s too laggy at times to move and avoid big flameblasts or storms)

You can see at about 9:04 I take heavy reflect damage from the double striker... still trying to figure out the details of this mechanic as I had 95% all res at this time and only deal cold/light. Even if it's a form of fire thorns, it's an amazing amount of reflected damage considering my mitigation and spell block (70%)

I haven't even seen that much reflected damage on double reflect map+pack. I don't even see that much reflected damage from arcs hitting the mirror in the split atziri phase (you can see this later in the video, again 95 all res.)

I'm wondering if it's an aura of sorts, because it seems to be most brutal when there are several adds right next to him that are eating tons of arc breaths/arcs.

@muir, it is a form of fire based reflect, the value's are unknown.

What is known is that he leaves this state and you are only suppose to attack him when he is in his "normal phase". Or you require 100% fire resistances (like RF builds).

You can somewhat manage the reflect because of 95% fire resist and a considerable health pool.

But the design is quite easy, let him chase you while he is on fire and attack when he is "burned out", then repeat until dead.

tl;dr you are not suppose to be hitting him in fire mode.
