Judgment App is super easy too, just skip it. DOH!

Except he can oneshot you off screen(and also does more damage at longer range). Ossecati is extremely visible, easy to avoid and trivial when using any ranged ability.

Did you watch any of the videos linked? Ossecati is easy to avoid? How? By logging when you see him on your screen? Half of those kills were with him off in the distance and then, blink, he's on top of you and you're dead.

He has been changed since. He no longer summons skeletons around you.

I've fought him several times, any ranged build has 0 trouble with his new version.
Judging from the replies in this thread I'd say he at the very least needs to be completely redone.

Some people say he's utterly impossible and should always be skipped.
Some people say he's incredibly easy and trivial to beat.
Some people say he's still a major cause of desync even after the fixes.
etc.

Nobody seems to be saying he's an interesting and/or challenging encounter. There's just several extremes of negatives that seem to be arguing with each other over whether he's stupidly easy or stupidly hard. He's stupid either way...

im not supporting this topic, first you have to know ossecati is super easy for a summoner, second you have to know some easy bosses for you are super pain for summoners (considering you are melee...)

That's exactly it, he's laughably easy if you're ranged or a summoner and almost impossible for melee.

So I say rework him, cut his damage somewhat, remove vaal slam from him and give him ground slam with some area bonus, that'll make him dangerous for ranged and summon too and he'll still hit melees pretty damn hard.

Just to open up people eyes, skipping everything remotely dangerous is actually an tactic.

You learned that in french military academy?

Well done sir.

What is that suppose to imply or discredit that fact? Retreat is an tactical opinion, every single military teaches the massive importance of not getting your dude killed for no reason.

You know the military doesn't work like what cod shows right?

And you do realize the French and 'tactical withdrawal' are a running gag online?

... and that the whole thing was a joke in the first place.

testing Ossecati's damage in HC

HP dropped before SMASH with no skellies spawned half way through animation.
Tested Ossecati SMASH in corrupted Catacombs (lvl 68) with no damage mods
(it wasn't noregen, so damage numbers aren't exactly accurate: +-100 HP)

All you need to know is that he crits or damage range is very wide.

6080 HP
21046 A
83% fire res
no enfeeble, no granite, no endurance charges

once I was SMASHED to ~2150 HP (two thousand one hundred fifty)

which gives us ~4500/4500 phys/fire upper bound SMASH damage

Resume: stack the fuck away from this guy

P.S.: usual non-SMASH attack (which is pyre phys) crit once for ~1900 HP.
P.S.: low SMASH boundary is somewhere around 2800/2800
4500 phys/4500 fire
assuming 75% fire res

gives 5700 MINIMUM amount of HP to reliably tank the SMASH in non-maps

you have been warned
Sounds about right, my mate tanked his smash with 4800 and a high lvl AA. But he might have gotten lucky :) (also this was in ambush, catacombs corrupted area), hmm and he might have had MoM running, would have to check.

But your data seems to be about right. (pretty ridicules hp cap for a non-mapper don't you think?)
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
Next test:

run packet sniffer and see if sync packet goes when SMASH starts
